If you're not averse to a box mod, the iTaste MVP can be had for 65 bucks or less. Comes with two iClear 16's, and spring for an iClear 30 for 13 bucks... that leaves $22.00 for either extra heads, some juice, or a different clearo. It lasts all day on a charge, and you can charge while you vape if needed. I had a Kanger S2 system, and I skipped right over eGo batteries right into the MVP.

Knowing what I know now, I would have gone straight to a mechanical.

2 18350 batteries: 17.27 shipped
1 Nitecore i4 charger: 23.98 shipped
Sigelei Telescoping Mod: 36.57 shipped
IGO-L Rebuidable Atty: 19.45 shipped
10 ft 2mm silica wick: 5 bucks from a local shop
100 ft 30g Kanthal D wire: 6.51 from Temco
Total: 108.78

A little over budget...but a 3 fold wick wrapped with a 0.8 ohm coil and I'll be blowing clouds with lots of flavor.

I would go one of 2 ways:

2 E2 Apollo 900mAh Batteries - $32.00
2 Kanger T3's - $11.00
4 T3 1.8 coils - $10.00
2 Chargers (home and car) - $10.00
Total $63 plus shipping.....leaving lots for ejuice.

Or step up a notch:

2 Apollo Twists - $40
2 Chargers - $10
2 Kanger Pro Tanks - $32
2 5-Packs 2.4 coils - $12
Total $94....tax and shipping might bump it slightly over the $100 budget.

1x cheapy drip tip @ $2
1x eGo cone @ $1.99

$79.49.

Add an eGo Mini 400 mAh @ $17 as a back-up.

I would get a VAMO v2 (not the less functional, seriously ugly v3) for the features and power. I would also get a free NJOY King disposable to see if the cig-alike form factor with a big nicotine punch helps you deal with physical and psychological cravings for cigarettes.

$39.98 VAMO v2
$38.97 Total ($2.99 shipping -$4.00 for coupon code APRIL10)

$10.03 2-pack of Panasonic CGR18650CH Rechargeable 2250mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries
$17.90 Nitecore I2 Lithium Li-ion Ni-MH Ni-Cd Smart Battery Charger-2 slots (I would spend the extra money one of the i4 models)
$26.53 Total (free shipping - 5% off for TENOFF coupon code)
Amazon has the i4 and a package of 4 Panasonics for a little more money if you don't want to wait for shipping from Hong Kong.

$15.99 Kanger ProTank
$ 7.99 Joye 510 Standard Atomizers - for testing juice flavors
$5.99 Ceramic Drip Tip - for the above atty. The ceramic stays cooler than metal and some juices melt plastic drip tips.
$33.39 Total ($3.42 shipping You can like Vapin' in the Cape for a coupon code)

$2.99 Free Sample of disposable NJOY King ($2.99 shipping)

The total for everything is $101.88

The VAMO has all the power you will need to produce enough warm vapor to blow yourself into the next county if that is what you like. The NJOY provides the psychological familiarity/comfort of smoking and can help with cravings should you have them.

Once you have used the VAMO and NJOY King for a couple of days you will have an excellent idea of what type of gear you feel would work best for your particular needs and desires as a backup and/or fill a gap in your vaping gear arsenal. That will help you avoid wasting a lot of money on things that work well for others but don't do the trick for you.

You might want to get another VAMO, something mid-sized like a Twist or Spinner for on the go or you may decide that the cig-alike eRoll is what fits into your vaping lifestyle the best. Maybe a mechanical with low resistance atomizer or a hybrid might be what you decide you need to float your vaping boat or perhaps a bottom feeder might do the trick.

A vamo

Two 18650 batteries

A charger

Aga-t rba

A sheet of ss mesh

100 ft of 32 kanthal wire

Yeah...If it was ME we're talking about, this would be how I spent my hundred bucks... No question!
So far, the Genisis attys are the best vape for the buck and hold enough juice between fills to not be a handicap in my humble opinion.

Spoiled by the AGA T2..... That's me.

OK, For $100 Just Starting Out and if you are speaking of just equipment. You Have to at Least Consider what VaporBreak is Offering:

VV350 veristack (Veri Stack VZ6) or Vamo 1 $17.50ea
and or

VV350 body only (Veri Stack VZ6) in 5 Colors $16.00ea
and or

Popular HOT NEW VV V6 body $16.00ea
add

18350/18650/16340 Wall Charger $3.30ea

18350 battery for lavatube vv350 $3.90ea x 2 $7.80

Hell get two more 18350's for other MOD $7.80

3.5ml dual coil tube tank atomizer clearomizer for EGO $2.80ea x 3 $8.40

DCT for tube tank dual coil system $1.50ea x 5 $7.50

CE2 dual coil clearomizer for 510 ego $1.20ea x 5 $6.00

ViVi Nova Clearomizer 2.8ml kit $6.00ea

ViVi Nova replacement wick $1.50ea x 3 $4.50

For all listed above Total comes to $100.80 Oops went over!??

OK, remove one MOD a DCT 3.5ml Tank a couple each DCT's & CE2's and purchase an eGo Twist!

These all will give you an idea what MODs are about then you can save for those Super Expensive ones! I have the VV V6 and the Vamo 1 and can atest to them working Great! Though I already had Batteries and Battery Charger I purchased their Charger & Batt's as backups. I'm Considering one of the Colored Veristacks just cause they are so inexpensive plus I like the colours! Please note after Spending WAY TO MUCH on Vaping Equipment in the Last Three Months! This is Just My 13cents Worth!

With $100, I would get the same ego Twist kit I got in February (two 1000mAh Twists, charger, case & a Vivi Nova) if it was still available (which would leave me with about $20). If not, I would still get two 1000mAh Twists, a charger, Stardust style clearo, Vivi Nova, Kanger T3 or similar & a pack of Boge SR cartos. If I still had some money left over, I would get a couple of drip tips and an atomizer to test juices.

Anyone considering ordering from Vapor Break should first take a very careful read through the Vapor Break thread in the VAMO subforum.

Thanks for pointing that out peraspera. All information should be out there for all to take in. But for those that have not read all those posts or do not have the time to do so should know that most of the negative posts came from the overly worried first time purchasers to China and not being aware of the Long Chinese New Year Holiday and the problems it brings! Standard China Post is also notorious for taking way to long! You should not be discouraged by this! Keep in mind folks have problems with state side vendors too! I had a problem placing my first order with Vapor Break but it was with PayPal not sharing some of my info with them. Check my posts and all the replies to it!

For those with limited dollars or just wanting to get a good deal should still take the time to check out VaporBreak they do have some Purty Decent Deals! If you do decide to purchase from them remember you can opt for the EMS shipping and with a substantial purchase you can add EMS shipping for just a few dollars more. I have made three substantial purchases from them since Feburary (Yes, I waited till after the Chinese New Year) my EMS shippments after being verified arrived within four days to Cali USA from China!

Also by using PayPal for your payment should leave you in the comfort that you will not lose your hard earned dollars! Don't let the many posts of those so worried that their package hasn't arrived yet because they chose to order during the Chinese New Year Holiday and or opted for Standard China Post get you down! Some folks really don't care that it may take 20 days or more to receive their package because they got such a good deal. If you can't wait that long like me they do give you the option for quicker EMS shipping! Along with PayPal you really have no worries! And really, this should be applied to all China Vendors! Enjoying My Three Vamo's Thank You! Again Just My 13cents Worth!!!!
