Ok let me make everyone laugh.

5 pack aluminum flashlight from Big Lots to build mods from takes two for one mod. 10.00
1 roll cotton yarn 300 yards unbleached undied white Ben Franklin Hobby store. 2.50
boil the above first^^^^
100 feet Kanthal wire from Ebay 4.99 shipped
1 NRC18650B Pan Battery, cheapest charger, igo L cloan from Rockytop Vapors 32.00
1 pack of 2 pushbutton switchs UPC 4029313096 Radio Shack 3.98
2 510 to ego adaptor to build mod fleamarket 4.00
36mg nic 250ml in pg from My Freedom Smokes 18.00
2 bottles 177ml vg (6.00) 1 bottle watkins flavor your choice(2.50) wal mart total 8.50
1 40 oz Beer your choice to drink while building mod. 3.00

Total Cost. 86.97 did not figure tax or shipping on Nic PG

Put 250ml of vg with the 36mg 250ml pg will give you a 18mg nic mix add the 2 oz watkins flavoring to mix will drop nic level to about 14 mg. You now have a little over 500ml of e-juice it should last a little while. Boil your cotton and let dry. roll some coils for the igo L cloan. Charge your Battery and open your beer start building mod should be able to complete with in about 2 hours. Call me for directions if needed. Go to local vape shops to show off your cool homebuilt mod and test sample flavors to find out what you like in e juice. Build your second mod. Wait for payday buy another NCR18650B battery buy flavoring you like from The Flavor Apprentice, LorAnn ect.... Get 250ml 36mg nic pg and 250ml vg mix new flavor. You now have 1000 ml of e juice about 120 dollars spent enough wicking and coil wire to last till times get better and you have more money to splurge on what you will.

Uh, I send $90 to Frosttosha to "invest" in (his/her?) operation, suck on old wicks in the mean time, collect all my old e juice bottles, sterilize 'em, develop a logo and stickers for said bottles to ship to Frosttosha to market their ejuice, have Frosttosha send box of gear and some e-juice back in a "If it fits, it ships, box", and vape while I collect aluminum cans to re-invest in Frosttosha's, put up a website on my GoDaddy account (that's been paid up years in advance) and market Frosttosha's juice.........

1 Protank 2
2 twists
A wall charger (USB/Wall combo).........71.75 -20% coupon =$57.40 w/free shipping
E juice (and maybe a 5 pk of coils) with the $42.65 left.

Seriously, I get on vape store's mailing lists!!!!! Lots of coupon codes!!!!:p

I know a lot of people ARE able to afford vastly more than $100, this is just a theoretical situation in which <insert fantasy situation where you only have give or take $100 to spend on e-cig stuff>. Maybe you are stranded on a strange island and you find a magical rock worth $100 to a local vape shop. We are all pretty spoiled with all the options aren't we? Excess and new is always fun but in reality, you can get a pretty decent setup without killing your bank account, but we do it anyways because it's fun! If I could only exchange some of my stuff for money back. Well to be fair... how about a $200 budget? That's very generous for equipment even starting with nothing on hand. Most beginners are not willing to spend that much trying to get into vaping. I think the very first kit I bought cost about $60 total including 2 901 batteries, charger, attys, cartridges, some cartos, and a bit of juice. Things have definitely changed though!

Woooo! $200 now I can get the end caps and part of the tube! :)

You make a good point though. Honestly if I was restricted to $100-200 I'd pick up something like the Magneto(cheap, decently made mech) some batteries, a charger, cotton yarn, 28 gauge kanthal, and then spend the rest on juice.

It's not so much what I can afford it's what I would afford if I was smoking cigarettes.

If I was limited to $100 and had to start over from scratch as a vaper who doesn't want to smoke another cigarette I'd have to go with eGo-C kits and rebuild my stash just like I did to start this time. Well, almost like I did this time. With what I know now I'd spend less time buying premade liquid and DIY earlier.

I'd save a lot more time and money going straight to the 18650 mods and skipping the eGos which really don't serve me much of a purpose any more.

I tried to figure up a break even point for a 2 pack a week smoker who doesn't have money to burn today and it really wasn't worth it.

Yup to what the Beagle said back on page 1. Instead of the MVP2, the VV v3 gets the job done better I think for $20 less. That's enough for an IGO-L, ming vase drip tip, and small spool of 30ga. But then, there was budget for only one bottle of juice, so there's nothing to drip. The pro tank mini 2 is a few bucks less than the full size, so maybe that's start... (Yes, you do so NEED a dripper. For the same reason Jelly Belly makes a universe of flavors rather than just the one.)

If this had been for real, I'd pay the electric bill, piggyback on my neighbor's Wi-Fi, and buy the wife some flowers. Y'all don't NEED vapes to live. In theory, that is.

Hi K_Tech

hey do you have any comments on Azure Vaping?--kinda looks interesting to me--I like their sparse www site
& the 'About Us' write up... wondered about customer service / shipping, etc. ~ prices look good

thanx :thumb:
Hi pufZeppelin;

Well, for me, I like their flavors (although I've only tried a few) but I think they're really well done. Prices are pretty excellent, I didn't have to deal with customer service, and shipping was fast. I had the shipping info (IIRC) less than a day after I placed the order.
