Has anyone used it? I'm happy enough with my ego to know that I'll probably never need to make the jump to 5v unless it's a passthrough, or I've got money to blow.

I know that it's probably gigantic, and that the "removable batteries" are probably just protected AA variants. But has anyone had the chance to try one, and if so, is there any feedback? The site that I saw them on is ecigg.org and there are no reviews. If any other US sites have them (or even china sites that may have em in 10 colors) Could someone throw me a link? I'd also like to know if they're made by Joye, bauway, boge, DSE, or someone else.

Thanks, here's the direct link.

The write it as ecigg (ego) 1300, etc. And from their other products - one 'Mad Max' I think it is a third generation clone - think Doug #4 in Multiplicity. There's an led on the end like the TRex, I believe or MAxx... there's some early horror stories on those - they may have improved since though... I'm 99% sure they are not Joye.

I guess it might be worth it to someone but for the price one could get a assembled box mod from Madvapes with juice feeder or get a battery, charger and mod without the feeder and have a true 3.7v vape.

If I was going that route I'd personally rather have 2 650 or 750mah Ego or Riva batteries for roughly 1/2 the price each and when one crapped out I'd have a spare.

Yeah you've all got a really good point. In that case I've got a couple quick questions.

1 Does the Riva battery fit the ego cone and vice versa?
2 Will it work on my ego usb charger?

I agree that the 1300mah battery looks absolutely gigantic. I'd rather use a GLV at 1500mAh at that size.

On the actual eGo/Tornado, the Riva and eGo parts are all compatible. I found one issue with the threads of a Riva batt but it was more of a quality control issue than an incompatibility - I found an eGo atty that fit it better and after use, they all fit well. Don't ever force threads though...

I have a ego 1300, a Riva 1300, Hello 016 1300 and a Go-Go 1300. The best by far is the Go-Go because of the Go-carto that matches with it. The battery has lasted me for as long as 23 hours of heavy vaping. The carts hold 3 ml of juice and last me around 12 hours. The other 1300s only allowed you to use standard attys and cartos. You couldn't use mega carts or cartos with them except for the 1300 ego I had that was made by Bauway and it was much longer than the others but the same diameter as reg egos. The secret to the Go-Go is the carto design and airflow otherwise it is just another 1300 mah battery. It isn't much bigger than a 900 mah ego t.

The Ego and the Riva are different voltages at the atomizer connector. From what I understand, the Riva is 3.7 and the Ego is around 3.2 - 3.4v. I ordered a Riva 510 kit for a relative and wanted to charge to batteries before I gave it to him. I charged one on the Riva charger and the other on the Ego charger. I discovered that the battery charged on the Ego charger would flip to red on the Riva charger after showing green on the Ego charger.

Anyone have this experience? Are the two different in max charge voltage?

Katya mentioned that there were some 'reversed polarity' chargers appearing - perhaps you got one. Where'd you get the Riva charger?

I have one Riva charger and one eGo charger going and the eGo, Tornado and Riva batts all work with both. Also as far as I know that have been tested underload by Scottbee - only the SE Riva has the higher voltage. There was speculation that all new Rivas would have that but never saw any confirmation on that. I have both types - the SE has a silver band and the regular Riva a gold one, and there's certainly a difference.

I have also had this experience. I also suspect a battery was damaged by being charged on the wrong charger though it was an isolated incident so I'm not sure of the connection of events.

But I'm also curious about others' experiences with this.

Both the Standard Riva and Ego are 3.2 - 3.4v regulated except for the Riva SE which is 3.7 unregulated.

Both the standards use the same charger, not sure about the SE.
