A Spanish modder is making a very affordable 14500 mod, mod Leo.

His website is in the link but find him on Facebook too. He gives a lot of updates there. You can get it w/ a brushed, or carbon tube.

I've a problem with length & OD of mods... I desire them as small & thin as possible with respect to the battery inside. Else, I view them as wastage of space, aka design flaw.

That Leo from Delanie looks cool, but again is long at 85mm (x 17mm). Remember, a 14500 battery is 50mm long... how much space should a head & bottom switch take?

I received my True Bagua clone from VT and ordered some Efest 17500's 700 mah button top batteries. After adjusting the top contact pin to it's maximum I still get a very small gaps which I evenly adjusted so one side isn't so pronounced. I happen to have a china made rda that is about the right diameter to perfectly match the mod. The only thing is the rda doesn't have an adjustable center pin to flush it to the TBC so it also has a small gap to the mod. If only their tube was a tiny bit longer. Do you think the Efest flat tops will fit without having gaps? I'll have to buy some AW IMR 17500 which I believe is shorter.

I think the flat tops might just alleviate that gap. Let us know pls.

I have a Bagua clone from VT. I am using aw imr 14500 600 mah button tops in it. They measure from base to top of button 49 mm. I have two other brands of 14500 that measure in at 48.5 mm and 49 mm. Both are flat tops. All three fit great after adjusting top pin.

The imr's work best. The other two are icr's. I don't use the icr's in it for safety concerns, but tried them for size.

With my experience with 14500's, they work best with low resistance (1.5 to 2.0 ohms) JMO. I get better than expected battery life with the aw's, and it's what I carry out and about now. I carry three batts (one in mod, two in a case). I've haven't used two in a day so far, and I like to vape :). Very happy with this mod

SOOOOO STOKED!

Got my BaGua 14500 clone in the mail and to my surprise it had to stupid korean engravings!

Bagua 14500 clone + Euphoria (Penelope clone) Both with no stupid engravings. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
Total cost was about $100

I need some help here gang. Got a Sprite from discountvapers and it....well it just won't fire.

This isn't my first mechanical mod. I've got flat top AND button top 14500 batteries, fully charged.
Everything appears to be in order, except that the 510 pin seems a bit too-recessed. And I guess that's my problem.
But I don't think it's adjustable.

Am I overlooking something glaringly obvious? The only video specifically for the Sprite I could find on youtube was in French. I watched it anyway. It DID clue me in to the air-flow ring though, so not a total loss, heh.

I've found the Sprite can be finicky about firing. You might try unscrewing the fire button to give it more "throw" and try pushing with different force and direction (center vs. off-center).

Aaaalllrighty then.

You were dead right about it needing more throw. So I did that, and just because I had it sitting right in front of me, I threw on one of these new Aspire DBC tanks (Dual-Bottom-Coil, looks just like a Vivi Nova but they actually work shockingly well) on it and EUREKA! It fired! It fired this 1.8Ohm dual-coil thing so well, in fact, that I figured "Well HEY! It's gonna LOVE my 1.2Ohm AGA-S that I just built."

Immediately upon firing, the entire unit got hot really quickly, so I rapidly unscrewed everything and am now letting it sit in pieces as it cools. Nothing smells or appears scorched, I'm gonna wait about an hour before I put the battery (it is/was(?) an EFest 700mah 14500) on my charger to see if it's toast.

Now I'm a little leery of doing anything with this mod. I've never had that happen before. And obviously a safety fuse is way too big to use.

Hrmmm.....
What coulda went wrong?
