so what are your initial thoughts on the kds novice, bob?

Oh I meant ordering it yesterday... But I will definitely post once it arrives!
Man, I was excited when I seen this question! I was thinking "oh boy, a review". Then I went to the next page and seen your reply. LOL. Mine hasn't shipped yet, but its suppose to ship today(yeah, we'll see). I am curious to know what you think when you get yours. I'll post something too :)

Will you be trying super stubby mode with 1 14250 or do you plan to stack em?

I considered 14250s for my vmod but I couldn't find a charger for em. Did you find a charger? Also, which 14250s did you find?

Just a guess but... I'm betting a 14350 would be the sweet spot for making this mod sit flush... Now if only they made imr 14350 lol. I have a couple blue imr 14250's laying around from another project so I will try those in super stubby mode. I can turn a little spacer if the batteries need. Got a euphoria tank with kir fanis full window going on top. Ordered some efest 14500 for it if the 14250's are lacking. I'm charging the batteries on a nitecore i4 with a lil extension I made. I'm thinking about fitting a stainless steel tube "beauty ring" to make it all flush and uniform width over the telescopic section in 14500 mode... Ideas, ideas...

I like your ideas. I did find blue AW 14250s at light hound but it doesn't say if they're imr. Only says unprotected. I'm not confident enough in them yet to commit to vaping them. Have you used the blue aw 14250s like the ones at lighthound? Any idea if they're imr?

which mod are you using the 14250s in?

I'm using the Mako Minno, will hold a 14250 or CR2 (15270). Great stealth device and interchangeable tubes so I can also use 14500,14650, or 2x CR2.
Here's a pic of it alongside a Sprite with Kayfun Mini.

Holy christmas! Look at that little dude! That is incredible how small that is. I never even knew that existed. Kudos. And I dig your juice choice btw. :)

Dang. Are they STILL that slow with shipping? I had an order that took a full 40+ days a month or so ago and I was REALLY hoping they would have most of those problems sorted out.

If not, it's probably for the best for my bank account.

Ended up canceling my order for the novice clone after 2 weeks of no movement.

I could get into that... but can you get unprotected 14250's and CR2's? I've got the GP Piccolo, and while the form factor is great, I'm waiting on some AW unprotected batteries to arrive in the mail to see if it's really what I want. I tried using protected batteries I had (and some that I got with the mod) and I had to build such a high resistance coil I put the GP back in the drawer and haven't touched it since.

I have a Temon 14500 and I normally stay around 1.4 with an efest IMR- works well enough for me. How high are you having to build with a protected batt?
It's nice to have a tiny mod for certain occasions, but it really just collects dust any more.
