16 ga then 17 ga then 18 ga

Yep, I've done it. Here's 17 ga. The lowest I have done was an 18 ga. More work than rewards. Since trying the 17, it's my new favorite. Before that I was running 16's:

You can try a seed feed store or a veterinarian. Seed feeds like Tractor Supply carry them for the animals. Just ask them because they might keep them behind the counter.

You can tailor the resistance (warmth) by adding or subtracting wraps from the coil. The coil above is 1.26 ohms. Because its so small, and the wraps touch it's nice and warm.

Their no prob to wick with rolled cotton

Cotton wicks like there's no tomorrow.

I'm been using cotton and a micro coil all day. Having a blast. I believe it to be micro. 8 wraps for 1.2 ohms.

Wrapped it around a torx 8 bit. Super small

Nice looking coil! What ga wire is it? I'm guessing 32 with 8 wraps.

28 with 8 wraps. I don't use 32.

Its 1.2 ohms. I currently use a vamo and that as low as I can go.
