Looking for a high end mechanical that is 17mm in width...preferably a 14500 model.

Found the Ba Gua, but the list is temporarily closed. Are there any others?

I've been looking for similar. I want a carry device for the summer, something I can mount an IGO-S on and drip when I have a chance to vape, so 14500 is a pretty ideal size. The answer I keep getting is "use 18350, the mods can be tiny" but I also want slim for pocketability. The Altsmoke BB looks like a nice little unit, but hardly "high end".

The Temon was posted in another thread, and although it looks great it's not available other than as a "blemished" model that didn't pass inspection. I don't want to spend that kind of money on a second-run device.

WHERE ARE THE 14500 MECHANICAL MODS?

Super T has their precise plus 10440 on clearance- nice looking mod and very pocket-friendly!

That does look like a great mod, but 10440s aren't available in AW IMR (for low-ohm coils), and the size limits you to cartos or dripping attys. I want to at least be able to use a tiny RBA like the IGO-S on it without it being too huge, thus 14500 is pretty ideal.

Gus G16 and the Temon are 16mm 14500 or 14650 mods

I looked at the Gus 16 but of course they're unattainable through ordinary "add to cart" methods, as is the Temon. Temon actually seems to be discontinued, although as I said above they have "did not pass inspection" units available.

Anyone have the Altsmoke BB? Every review I find is 2+ years old.

That thing is seriously sexy. Watching the video, the switch looks to be a very good design for minimal voltage loss and the machining looks great. I don't really get the obsession with air control rings (I guess for that Penelope he mounts?), but otherwise a really cool mod. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the bottom switch; I find them awkward to use.

How do you buy from a site like that? Paypal?

I would guess paypal, almost everything foreign thing I have ordered, with one exception, has been through paypal.

Thanks. I have zero experience ordering overseas other than through ebay.

i rock a piccolo and its sweet. i think the v3 is 17mm OD and it matches up perfect with a penelope, spheroid, and the button lock on its very smooth and easy to use and works perfectly, totally pocket friendly

I was totally unaware of that mod. Their write-up definitely makes it appealing. Unfortunately those too are out-of-stock. I found the thread here on ECF and they say there's no ETA at the moment.

yeah they are out of stock right now, they do pop up in the classifieds every now and again. i waited about a month or so before finding one in the classifieds and man was i happy i did. very nice build quality and replacement parts like springs and insulators are easily available. i havent had to swap out any parts yet and i use it everyday when away from home. def my favorite 14500 mech mod out there. GG has the proteus coming out soon and i believe its a 14500 VV mod. and i think its OD will be 17mm to match up to penelope and the new achilles atomizer, and any other atomizer with similar dimensions. thats the next mod on my wish list, might be worth the wait

ps- hey fury, "valar morghulis", i also speak valyrian...hope the next book comes out this century

So of course Scott didn't like the button on the Mert. I'm already not crazy about bottom buttons, and doubt I'd like a wobbly button on a high-end mod.

That Proteus is another to lust after. Voltage regulation on a thin Greek mod? Yes, please. :D

If I could find the Piccolo today I'd buy it. I really like the very short length on that -- almost a cig-alike mod.

Should I give up and just try to get a Roller when they're released tomorrow night at something like 3am?

That was discussed in another thread and I almost pulled the trigger on it. Any idea of the dimensions? I'm intrigued by the Piccolo because of just how tiny it is. I wonder if the Temon is similar-sized? I guess I could deal with cosmetic flaws if it's that cheap. I also wonder how the switch is, whether it uses a spring for battery contact.

See, now I'm just being picky. But I hate buying things I later don't use for whatever reason.
