Would the Sony VTC5A not do you?? I used to use it with my alien & vaped the baby beast at 100-110 are you planning on going any higher than that??
Yeah, I see how that was a bit of a ramble still working on my first cup of coffee, I am not planning on going any higher than 130W it was the but what if I want to one day go with the smok Cloud Beast with the v8-t8 which is recommended 120w-180w, again not that I would, I am just trying to understand my options, and making sure that I am interpreting what I have read correctly. Some of the stuff I have read is a bit old I know some things never change such as Ohm's law. So I come here and ask.

I wouldn't worry about 18650s disappearing in the near future.
Maybe not, but good button tops are getting scarce. The featured chart doesn't indicate button or not, leaving me to assume most, if not all, are flat tops. And my #1 device (ProVari v2.5) won't work with those.

For Provari owners button tops are an issue. I thought in some obscure thread I saw that there were ways of converting a flat top to a button top, but hell if I can't remember. Maybe someone in the batteries section will weigh in (oops, we're already in that, forgot the thread was moved).

I understand, might want to look for 30a battery but just know the battery life will decrease. Btw you do know ohms law is only needed with a mech don't you??

See now that is the part that has me a bit confused Joyetech says to use 25A batteries and the mod is rated at 228 W not that I think I will go that high I mean, right now I use an Eleaf Ijust 2 and if I use the tank from that one the eVic then I am looking at around 80 W but the kit that is coming has the ProCore Aries which tops out at 130W. I don't see any day I would try and go over that but what if I do want to? I don't want my mod to go boom I have enough metal in my body as is. So much simpler when I smoked got zippo all good but thanks for helping to clear some of this up.

Yup, I'd say that marketing is a serious problem. When Joyetech says "This is a 228 W mod. Use 25 A batteries." it's hardly surprising that people would assume they can safely go to 228 W with those batteries. But they can't. The 228 W means that the board in the mod can handle 228 W - if only there were batteries that could safely provide it.

That is the problem I have been having to be honest Marketing says this, this person on Youtube says this (but can I trust this person for anything since they do reviews and all their reviews say whatever mod the review is about is the greatest thing ever) I have tried asking a few other places and well that didn't turn out so well would get ignored or told use whatever will fit in the hole or the best one 'just quit now go back to smoking get cancer and die already'. So again thank you to everyone for the help. It is nice to be able to ask and get a reply that does not make me want to punch someone in the face, or a reply that is not an attempt to sale me something.

Again I would like to thank everyone for the help I received my batteries today I went with the Sony VTC5A, and have been using the new mod for about two hours now. I have noticed a large difference, I am getting a much better flavor and the clouds are so thick I have to remember to blow out the corner of my mouth or I can not see my monitors.

I buy the LG HG6 Pink 30a 1500mah. As above do you REALLY plan on using 228w or what the manufacture says it is? What it may possibly go up to has really nothing to do with the batteries you use. It's what you use, resistance watts volts amps.

No, I don't think I will ever try and go anywhere near 228w, the kit that I bought came with the ProCore Aries Atomizer if I stay with that then their highest rated coil is 130w according to website or 90w according to the reference card that was in the box. I guess I went a bit Tim Allen "more power" (grunting noises here) I really should know better than trust the words of the manufacturer after my first attempt to prime my coils "two drops" they said but a drop is subjective two drops from a needle is less than two drops from a dropper. There is just so much info out there that it is easy to get overwhelmed, I smoked for 23 years and well it was simple got my cigar punch, got my trusty Zippo we are good to go. You go to vaping and it's all amps, volts, wattage, ohms, (squirrels for people who have ADHD) top that off with who's info can you trust. Take the battery chart on the first page the AWT yellow manufacturer says 75A Mooch says 25A that is a huge difference. Then add that to reviews on YouTube with things like " Hey it's me brown-nose from give me free stuff vaping here today to tell you about Roy's new mod this is the greatest thing ever made if you don't have this then you are a fool" then the next video they post is "Hey check it out I just got Jim-Bob's mod and this is the greatest thing ever" Really it is enough to say screw it where did I put my cigars.

So finding a place where the info is given and explained and done in a way where you are not made to feel like a fool for asking or told Google is your friend, okay well this turned into a bit of a rant and mayhaps went off topic in a few places so yeah, time to go make more coffee.

No, I have the eVic Primo 2.0 not, the mini. Before that, I had the Eleaf iJust2. I really like the eVic it is more than I need at least for now but after using it for almost a day now I am very happy with it I did not see the mini until after I already ordered the one I have but again more power is a good thing right?

Power & wattage isn't really why I use dual battery mods, it's more for the battery life I get out of them as I vape alot!
I'm gonna look up the evic Primo now :)

That is what I was hoping for more battery life that and being able to see how much of a charge I have nothing like being out and your mod dies and you don't have your backup. I vape a lot myself after 23 years of smoking cigars it is to be expected I guess. I got mine from gearbest Joyetech eVic Primo 2.0 Kit with ProCore Aries -$54.87 Online Shopping| GearBest.com
