So I have these three 18650s laying around, and I'm sending back my shine mod due to some battery contact issues. What are some other mods out there for the 18650 battery? Requirements are: Side button (no roughstacks) so I can use a tank easily and less than $80, other than that I'm pretty much looking for anything. I'm really close to buying an Indulgence V3, but I've seen some posts here and there about battery contact issues with them as well, so I'm kind of reluctant. I've thought about a lavatube, but that's right at the very top if my budget, which is already higher than my actual budget.

Thanks for the heads up on this! Just purchased a black one. I will let you know how I like it. I'm currently using a Roustack, a 5v RSM, and just burnt up a VV box mod. So this may soon become my new everyday unit.
I have been using a RS with a VPX Tank and one of those 5V NiMH batts for a few months. The one in the pic has a Iken Fusion in the tank and the 510 to 801 adapter works great.
SLIVER BULLET. Have to get one in the collection. But it is pretty big but sure in heck can not break it. And its one of the biggest sellers and been out for years. Can not go wrong for them. Altsmoke sells them check it out bud.

dang, that indulgence would have fit my bill as well, too bad i bought a 3.7 custom box from smoktek.com, then again it wasn't an 18650, nor did i have the batteries/charger. my kit with batteries/charger cost me $37, plus it seem half the 3.7 mods out there don't work with 1.5ohm dual coil cartos...not that it....matters, here...i'll shut up now.
