Does anyone know a good 18650 as my lavatube has been going a bit erratic lately, i have quite a few batteries so was hoping to just replace the lavatube.
Hey , Bob . Lots of PV's out there that use that particular battery . Really depends on if you still want the VV devices or will settle for a non VV device . As for non VV , look at Silver Bullets , Bolts , Reo's , and lots more . As for VV , either the new style Lava's or for more money , can't go wrong with a Provari ( with an extension cap ) or you could try out a PV , and use the Kick with it . I haven't tried the kick thing yet , but have either had , or still have all the others I mentioned .
I am thinking about just waiting a while and getting a provari with extension cap. After over a year vaping and wasting fair bit of money think the provsri is my next move.cheers for the reply. How long have you been vaping for?
See my above post. Your batteries won't work on the provari

You might check out the new madvapes vv called the gripper. takes a imr 18650.
The gripper states it uses a imr 18650 battery. The older ones used 2 18350 batts from what I understand. Madvapes sites states it uses an 18650.. We will see.I already have a gripper, it takes a 18350 battery. Doesn't really perform that well even tho I've tried all sorts of cartos on it.
The provari is a great 18650 mod you could probably get awy with using a earth manet on your batteries not sure but others do that and say it works. The vari is gonna blow you away steady voltage no drops and true voltage all the time it don't change once it hits your atty/carto.What it reads is out of the carto not just in.Then you get you some good aw imr 18650's.
I agree. You can get a provari with an extender cap for $179.00. You can use an earth magnet for your existing batteries. It does work.
Thanks Pappy. I Knew something wasnt right.. lolDoots, you and the OP are talking about 2 different units. You're referring to the new VV Gripper, and he's talking about the old 3.7 fixed voltage unit.

Flat top batteries will not work. Using magnets on top of your batteries will void the warranty.

If you are looking to use your existing batteries, make sure you get a mod that requires flat top 18650.
The provari, for example, uses button top batteries and yours would not work.
