MMMMMnnnnnn! I got everything charged. Added a Cisco 510 @1.5, my favorite juice Carolina Crush. Night & day difference from an ego batt and carto tank. I've got to get the feed down. Might be a bit of a curve for me. I primed the atty, saw a dribble of juice in the well with a couple of pumps and vaped. What I didn't know was at the end of a nice draw if the atty gets dry, it will knock you out of your chair.

All 4 batts arrived with 3.9V and took about 45 minutes to charge to 4.2V. Does that sound right to you?

I'm Happy!

Thanks to all who have been here before!

Anyone want to comment on the battery question?

They charged just fine. New batteries will take a few charges to reach optimum performance. The time to charge does not seem to be unusual.
Different chargers will charge longer. I really don't see any problems!

If you're using the AW IMR's, then that sounds about right. When mine arrived, I put 2 on the charger while I vaped with one of the others, they come pretty much already charged close to capacity.

10 months into my 5 18650's (in religious rotation), and they still come off the charger at 4.2v. I couldn't be more pleased. I've actually decided that even though they aren't cheap, when one of them starts to go, I'll just order 5 new ones and retire the old ones. I figure I already got my money's worth out of them. Compare their lifespan and cost vs. something like an Eg*, and they come out WAY cheaper, but much longer vape duration before needing a charge. And safer to boot, you can't beat that :)

Welcome to Reoville and vaping Nirvana!

By the way, if you over squonk (get it TOO wet) you won't get the vapor you get at the "sweet spot". I'm so used to what it's *supposed* to do, I can almost "sense" when it needs a squonk or battery switch out.

I'm doing a bit of squonking and blind squonking. Will get that dialed in. Had a couple of dryer hits, and knew it was time for a push. I had one long hit right after I got the batt in and a atty that fired (1st one didn't for some reason, ohm'd ok) and right at the end it had one heck of a dry hit. Enough to make me spew all that flavor right out. It was telling me to juice it, and I wasn't listening. So I payed that price. Yuck! I figure I have at least all weekend to get this right, and I will no matter how many coma's I drift into! Man my current flavor tastes better in the Grand! I'll just look at the HH357 @1.5 sitting in the box for a week or two. I'm a fog machine for sure.

You'll get it down in no time. Once that happens then it'll be a cakewalk. LOL Know exactly what your talking about and had that happen to me way more times that I would've liked. Now, when I taste a slight hint of that flavor. I squonk like my life depended on it.

Usually when I putt the batt and atty (after it's been primed). I let it rest for 10 minutes to let the juice seep throughout the mesh and wick. That way I won't get that horrible dry hit when you take that first drag. Personally, I prefer blind squonking then the regular way. It's much easier and plus, it's better for driving. Kind of annoying looking to see if the juice is coming out of the connection IMO.

But yeah, remember when I first started and noticed how all of my juices tasted different in my first Grand. Brings out an aspect of the juice that wasn't possible on something like an ego. Anyways, you should definitely hold off on using the 357 until you got your feeding technique down. Since you don't wanna kill it and waste the money that you spent on the atty. That would be a real shame.
