1st REO Impulse Buy

Hiyas! Just impulse bought my 1st REO off the classies. It's a mini, v1 I'm assuming as it's coming with 14500's. I've been eyeing bottom feeders for awhile, was about set on a Vmod for budget reasons, but this was such a good deal and the REO's have such a good rep I just sort of leaped. There are so many threads about how the RM2 is the perfect atty for the REO, but I pretty much shot my vape budget on the REO, so I'm looking for an inexpensive way to get started until I can afford one. The only rda I already own is an Octopus, which I haven't been super thrilled with, but that may be my own build inexperience. Will that actually work with a Mini? Would a carto or cheapie atomizer be a better option to get me through a week or so till I get an RM2? Any advice here would be appreciated, I'd like to get whatever topper I need so it's ready when my REO arrives.

Yes, a cartos or atty 510 or 306 will work fine on your Mini. Just make sure it has a hole in the bottom for the juice to flow into.

When you are buying your RM2 you will need to ask Robert (redeyedancer) if it can be milled to fit the Mini. I know he was planning to have them milled to fit all the metals, but do not know if it has been done.

The mini ERA from Fasttech is inexpensive and fairly easy to mod for bottom feeding if you have a Dremel.

I'm pretty sure the one I have is pretty much the same as the ERA. Is there a link or a thread telling me how to do that mod?

Make sure you tell Rob it's for a mini when you order the RM2 just to be safe. I think the V1 has to be milled down slightly....not sure just do it to be safe

When the funds come available for the RM2 just let Rob know its for a mini.

Either will work! As long as it is a 510 or 306 you are good to go! If they don't have the bottom hole you can drip!

I'd just get an atty or a carto or two from your local B&M, if you have one, to hold you over. Congratulations, you saved me $95.
