I knew that I would save money by giving up analogs......as my banner shows, Ive spent good money on supplies, e juices etc....but now Ego-t, so really now my expenses are only ordering different juices, and maybe the odd , battery or atty replacement....I love the fact that my lungs feel much better, I dont mind paying out money for new juices, or replacement parts for my device....Its all good

wait till you really get hooked and make it a hobby, i've probably dumped 2/3 of my savings back into vaping lol. Probably spend close to $600 over the past month on juice, 2 pv's, a rebuildable atomizer, and cartomizers, plus side the cartos I bought enough to last roughly 6 years.

I've kept track of my vaping expenses. My break-even date is now March 15th, assuming I don't buy anything else. I don't think that I'll buy any more batteries (unless one dies before then). I might have enough cartomizers to go the distance. I'm pretty stocked up on my regular juices. Unless I break down and buy some IBTanked tanks, it's possible that I'll be in the black before the end of March.

I feel the exact same way! Congrats to you on 2 months! Today makes 3 weeks for me being completely off the stinkies & I've definitely spent more than I would have on analogs but I don't care!! It's totally worth it! I know that I'll spend less now that I'm finding the juices & things I'm going to stick with for the future!

It is addictive... I just started too about 2 months ago. I got an overpriced kit to start out with... Then got an eGo VV battery and some stardust clearos I could swap the heads out on... And I just dumped some more money into a Vamo and Vivi Nova... I've read so many good things about the Vamo and Vivi Nova, I hope I'm happy for a while! LoL At this rate, it is just about as expensive as smoking! But, I do feel a whole lot better, and I still get the bills paid. It's a lot more fun to vape, so much more variety!

After a year I went from Blu, inferno(ego), lavatube, now a vamo and ea telescopic pure mech mod, and delivery systems I've tried carts, cone tanks, carto tanks, and now rba's. my prefered is def the mech mod with the rba, but the vamo with carto tank is for out and about. just much easier to deal with rather than trying to keep my rba upright.

Basic supply's DIY nicotine and such and a few batteries and Id save a bunch of money over smoking. But I see the shiny new toys, and OMG I need 2 of those...then tell myself I'm saving money as I click the confirm order button.

I decided to keep a spread sheet of what I spend this year on vapeing vs. smoking....but last year.. I'm just going to stick with my denial and say I saved money, I did I know, I did, I had to have saved money....

The health improvements and not stinking and all the other good stuff really is the best part.

Here in Hawaii, "analogs" are $10 a pack, so I could buy all kinds of e-cig stuff, and still save money... Been doing this for 2 months, spent prob around $300-350 so far... I feel like I'm saving money still, but it's catching up with me quick... Still need batteries and a charger for the Vamo when it gets here... And I'm still searching for the perfect wick for these clearomizer heads... I'm not done spending just yet, but I feel like I see the light at the end of the tunnel... And next week, the VW ProVari will come out, and I'll have to get it... LoL

Hi all, I new a 2 month newbie too and have quickly taken up vaping as a lifestyle change and hobby. I. The past 2 months I've purchased a Provari and a SS Vamo and love them both. I also have at least 40 bottles of juice...hit and miss, mostly hit. So far I've only tried Vivi Nova tanks, which have worked fine. Does anyone have any suggestions for other tank types that might deliver more taste?

My 1:st post here, Hi! :)

I have been "smoke" free for 1 ½ month and love this vaping adventure, sure it has cost me more then analogs. I used to smoke 1 pack a day and went down to 5-6 a day with help of nic spray/gums/patches etc...but none of em really could make me stop 100%. I am so happy now that I found this vaping world!
I have tried vivi nova mini, Stardust V3, DC tank and a few more in just 1 ½ month...none of them satisfy me really until I found Kanger T3! That one just rocks with taste and vapor, no leaking easy to fill and clean (this is how I felt and experienced personal and may not be the same for all) you should check "PBusardo review - the clearomiser shotout" T3 wins hands down, he was so right :)

i've been analog free for almost a year. I have saved almost a grand (spent the other 7 hund) but it has been a learning experience that has been awesome. I KNOW SO MUCH NOW IT HURTS! And to boot I have a collection of juices that work... and don't work. Ive always been cheap, but just got the Ihybrid Hellraiser and dont see myself buying anytime soon hahaha. been through egos, vapage (which still kicks but attys cost to darn much), and a bolt with a kick and phoenix RBA (dag burn button broke, still figuring out how to re-create it). All in all it doesn't equal out at the beginning but after a bit it makes sense.

This is why I'm often cranky about the advice so often given out to new vapers. They're very commonly told to start with a stick batt, or even an Ego.

I say start with a pair of 1300 mAh spinners.

Newbs are often told to start with some standard 510 cartos.

I say start with a T3 or vivi nova.

Alternatively, if a tobacco smoker I knew irl were to ask, I'd show them my vamo and tell them that they're very likely to end up with something like it sooner or later, so they should skip the intermediate steps. The learning curve really isn't all that steep, and the price is getting reasonable.

If you don't waste your first couple of c notes on equipment you're going to stop using after a month, and get right into it, you can save money pretty quick.

I got a $50 eGo Twist starter kit and may have spent $100-$50 on juice so far and maybe another $40-50 on various tanks. Been vaping for about a month and a half now... I'd dare to say I've almost broke even at this point already, though I do think I need a few more tanks and wouldn't hurt to stock up on more juice and another battery would be smart. So far I'm wondering if I will need to graduate past the twist as it's doing the trick for me. I like the fact of not having to stop for packs everyday but still gotta get better with prompt order placing.

if you do your research and don't need to double I'd say that 2-3 months is just about where you'll break even if you don't go crazy.
It's easy to go crazy, but one of my goals with e-cigs was to lower my cost, If I stay at 50% I'll be happy.. so Maybe I"ll be picking up a battery and trying another *omizer soon :()
