I read alot about people who says they're spending more money than they ever did.. For me, at first this sounds about right. It's been a month and a few days without analogs and I've spent 286.90, not adjusting for shipping and discounts.. I now have enough juice to last me ATLEAST 2-3 months.. I figured analogs would cost me over a 5 bux a day, around 160 bux a month.. All I'd have to do is stick with it for another month and I'll be officially saving money.. the trick to saving money with this is not splurging on juices and flavors.. just sticking with my favorite liquid and empty cool carts is the way to go for me..

and for those who say e-cigs are A LOT of work.. so is chemotherapy..
my :2c:..

The problem is, it's not easy for everyone to find a "favorite" liquid.

But you're right, once you find the hardware and liquid that works for you, and you have some will power to not try every mod known to man, then you really start saving money.

It cost me more in the beginning but I did the stock up thing. Right now I don't HAVE to buy anything and, since I'm off nicotine, that includes liquid from a dealer. What I have spent money on lately is stuff to help convert family and friends.
As for me, barring a hardware disaster, I am pretty much set for life.
And in the long run, vaping is going to save me a bundle!!!

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 dead batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give thank you.

Heck I'm not even the smoker in the family...I'm spending money left and right on this (primarily because to me its a gadget, and I love gadgets)

She's happy with the carts that came with her TW 510.

Yea don't get me wrong... I really really really wanna splurge on some new fancy equipment, like the new GG. something extremely expensive.. it'd be so much funn ..
I guess I shoulda mentioned the different reasons we're vaping.. Some are vaping as a hobbie while others as a substitude for analogs.. the different reason impact the amt of money spent..

I've spend some money in the small e-cigarette (402) and after that in e-16, then I found the great (great!) bulli (from bulli-smoker.de) and afterwhile I bought some ego's for me and a couple of friends. Not to speak about several liquids and akkus and atomizers. My wife is nearly convinced, since she tried the ego and I've spend a lot of money - but I'm so happy with ending up smoking...

Financial breaktrhough will be in december 2010 - and that's not to bad, is it?

Agree with Jonmo1 "The problem is, it's not easy for everyone to find a "favorite" liquid.""
And just when you think you did, your tastebuds come to life and you no longer have a favorite liquid!! So you spend more money searching for a new one and than you do the whole thing again another couple weeks down the line and so on lol ..

Lol. I got my first e-cig on Saturday and it wasnt with the intention of saving money. It was more that this e-cig gives me everything I want from smoking without the crap. Saving money was just another bonus, I thought. Three days later and $210.00-plus later... :p

I've done ok at saving money over analogs, but there are definitely some mods out there i'm going to want to try sometime in the future. Theres the initial startup cost but with a little homework nobody has to go through 5 mods to get the one they like. If I spend 6 months to a year saving cash over analogs then its easy to justify splurging on something nice. This is just my thoughts I get to reward myself down the road for getting off those nasty things :)
