I ordered my kit from cignot.

one battery is a 1000mah upgrade and the other is a 1000mah ego-c twist (variable voltage).

the 1000mah upgrade battery set works flawlessly. not a single drip of liquid.

my ego-c 1000mah vv twist set up LEAKS. i checked everything i could think of. i made sure everything was screwed on tight and securely. i dont draw too hard. it seems most of the leak is at the bottom of the atomizer base area. nothing is leaking out of the top. its all towards the bottom.

i looked around online but didnt find anything helpful that solved the problem. it doesnt just leak when in use or whatnot. its not a heavy leak but it is wasting juice.

my 2nd issue is more of a question: does the ego-c really eat that much juice? im buring through juice way faster than when i used the juice to refill my old mistic e-cig cartridges (im not sure what batter model the mistic cigs use) and its not lasting as long as it did on my old mistic ecig.

if the ego-c really burns juice at this rate im considering buying unflavored nicotine/ecig juice from myfreedomsmoke they have it available in 24mg strength in 500ml for only 26 dollars and use it as is. its safe to do correct? maybe ill add some menthol flavoring in there to give it SOME taste as plain might be boring but idk about mixing liquids to make my own batch. unless theres recipes for making ejuice in a tank (ie. x amount of drops of unflavored nic juice and x amount of whatever flavoring in your tank) but i dont want to make big batches of the stuff. thats why i thought using the 24mg nic juice would be good as i can fill it mostly with that and add drops of flavoring to taste.

would this work well?

thoughts/help opinions?

What carto, atomizers, clearos, tanks are you using?

The "tank" system that comes with the eGo- C and T are outdated and were great when they first came out but are prone to leaks. Most move on to carto, clearos or the Vivi Nova. Ohms wise for your eGo C you want 1.7- 2.0 ohms- good for 3.3-4 volts. For the Twist 2.4 ohms- good from 4 volts- 4.8 volts.

im using the ego-c type B stock everything. type b tanks, atomizer, atomizer head, etc.

I've heard that the b-type tanks leak worse than the type-a tanks. Have you tried a different b-tank? Sometimes the hole in the tank gets wallowed out and doesn't create a good seal around the spike on the atomizer causing it to flood.

I agree with this advice. I still use my Ego-c occasionally to test new juices. Once I determine that I like the juice, it graduates to my Mini Vivi Nova.

this might be the case. the regular ego-c type b im using (remember i got two complete ego-c's in my order) is working flawlessly. it still consumes juice like a .... though. but at least i can be sure its not leaking and its just the ego-c eating it up.

i wasnt aware ego-c's burn through juice so effortlessly.

the tank might be the issue on the one with the vv because when i originally installed everything the tank didnt puncture on its own (like it designed to do) when i put it on the atomizer head so i did use a toothpick to pop the hole. this could be the cause. thanks for letting me know

do you suggest using unflavored nic juice in the tank and using it by itself and/or dropping a few drops of flavoring in there?

im really tempted by the amount you can get from myfreedomsmoke for the price. buying 30 mil @ a time for 15 wont cut it if i burn through juice so fast.

im a bit of a noob to this part of ecigs. care to enlighten me? how can i find ones that are sure to work on my ego-c's? if you have something you can direct me to that would work and hold a good amount of juice w/o the leaks id be VERY thankful. ideally something thats intended to be refilled (dont want to constantly buy tanks)

The whole idea of DIY juice is you buy a higher mg/ nic and mix it with PG and VG+ flavoring, bought cheaply at the pharmacy.

so its not advised to buy a lower strength and use it str8? or buying a lower strength...putting it in your tank and adding drops of flavoring to taste?

i dont want to buy 500ml at 100mg or what not and mix it down and have a huge batch. id like to "use and mix as i go" if that makes sense. no advisable?

id assume 1-2 drops of flavoring in a tank of unflavored nic juice would do the trick? no?

I own a Kgo ( same as eGo but higher voltage) Twists and Spinners. By far the best delivery system is the Mini Vivi Nova- hlods just under 2.0 ml.
The Mini Vivi Nova is a plastic or metal tank with a wick and element. Contains NO stuffing. The rebuildable clearos come with heads (coil+ wick) that can be cheaply and easily replaced. When the head burns out simply unscrew the old head out and screw in new head- takes 10 secs. My Vivi Nova heads are lasting about 4 weeks BUT I wash the heads every few days. I've found the Vivi Nova to give the best draw.
Problem is they are so popular Vendors are sold out. Tank with 3 heads costs $9- $13. Separate Heads cost about $2.50- $3.00.

You're welcome. What mg nic do you vape? I vape anywhere from 60/40- 80/20 PG/VG without issue.

and thanks for the link to the nic juice. its actually a bit cheaper than myfreedomsmoke. awesome. i might get 500ml of something in the ranges of 12mg-24mg and use it str8.

do these atomizers have a hard time dealing with VG? im thinking 80% PG if so. whats the "Sweetspot" with ego-c's as far as the pg/vg mix goes.

as far as nic dosage? anywhere from 12mg to 24mg usually. ive tried 36mg once (a little too much bite lol). as far as pg/vg ive experimented with everything from 100% pg down to 80% vg. for me (in my experience) i notice pg/vg helps more with taste of certain flavors. some taste terrible @ 80pg for example and work better at 50/50 for my taste and others are the opposite.

i generally try to buy heavier on the pg side since ive heard they dont wear out the atomizer as fast as vg heavy juice.

Not to worry as the Twists and eGo- C are fine PVs. It's just the delivery system part that's giving you greif. I vape 2 mg juice and buy 100 mg flavorless nic. If you DIY I suggest buying 48 mg flavorless.

ego There is a whole sub-forum on here for diy info. Will explain a lot if you check it out. Lots of people there make all their own juices. Just become familiar with the safety aspects of it first. You can't go wrong getting the vivi nova, it is much simpler that dealing with those old types. This is what you want, and lots of vendors are sold out.

Here is the DIY section on ECF DIY E-Liquid

Generally
Higher PG = greater throat and better wicking and better flavor carrier
Higher VG = less throat hit more vapor. VG is more viscous (thicker) and sweeter taste
Higher nicotine = greater throat hit
