"nothing said to my face" - as in content like , "i dont like you so stop", or "i dont like the clouds in the space, both of you need to stop" , or even "you personaly are not allowed to vape"

Why would you want someone to be all confrontational with you? They could have been trying to not be a complete jerk. Either way, they were being pretty damn clear about it so I don't understand why you would want what you're saying unless you want to get confrontational, so please explain if that's not the case.

the confrontation was entirely there, you missed the last thread with this story - its liked here somewhere.

its not the fact of confrontation, but the lies that continued to be spewed only my way.

if i "only me" was not allowed to vape in the house, i would of liked him to atleast be honest about it and say so.

the "argument" was a result of him feeding lies into an ever-burning oven to flame up truth. i hate being lied to - and i cant stand it, sorry thats one of my personal traits.

not to "cram is down" any ones throat, but to end the spell of lies - yes, using google to bring up information that disproves his lies - lies in which he was only implying on myself and singling me out. if he would of just said what he really though it probbaly wouldnt have ended up going the way it did.

so, because your in your house, its completely fine to lie to some one over and over and then - "not end well" with them when they call you out on the lies. good to know thats what kind of person you are.

YES!! The guy can lie to you in order to give a reason he does not want you to do something in HIS house.
Does this make him a nice person? NO.. But that is not what we are talking about here. What we are talking about it simply him telling you not to vape and you still doing so. There is really not one thing that he could do or say that would make it OK to ignore his request in his own home.
He could be a liar, a mean jerk, a hypocrit, whatever..None of those things mean it is OK to vape in his house when told not to. THe only option is to leave.
You seem to want to make a reason that it was OK to vape anyways. It was not. There is no reason that makes it OK in his house.

Look no one wants to be told they were wrong. However, there is always the option to learn from that.
Life is not fair and people are not always treated fairly or equally. There is a time and place to address those things. This situation simply was not it.

I intensely dislike people lying to me. BUT I can remove myself from the presence of someone that I feel is being a total jerk.

Here is the absolute honest answer: IF he did this at YOUR house, you have a case. It is Your place, your rules.

He acted like a rear end of a donkey BUT it was in HIS house, his rules.

You have the option of removing yourself from that situation. I would definitely take that option and no longer help this person's son. Hey, that's the penalty for being related to a jerk.

Now, if the person had been at your house and started spouting off utter bs, I would say you have EVERY right to kick him out of your house.

That is what we are trying to get across to you. You HAVE to know when it is appropriate to defend ecigs. That scenario that you described is so not one of them. The only thing that is appropriate is to relate the facts as you know them and comply. Regardless whether or not you think the guy is a :censored:

I think the guy is a :censored: but it was his house. His kid sounds like a spoiled brat also. But again, not your house.

Your house? Go for it. Get in the guys face. Kick his rear end of a donkey out the door. I would be glad to hold it open for ya.

Know the difference in when to battle and when not to.

according to that statement, there is never the "right time" to address either situation.
seems this line of thinking is why vaping is still treated the wat it is publicly

glad im learning alot today. :/

go ahead close the thread, im done talking about this subject.

As this thread closes down and tempesr become unflared, I think it's important we all sit and think about some of the valuable life lessons we learned and the good times we shared here. Times like these don't come along very often and with the passing of this thread all of those moments could be lost like tears in rain.

Yeah, thats right I did it, I went small portion of the Rutger Hauer soliloquy from Blade Runner primarily because I couldn't think of anything else and this final add on is perfect to this nonsensical thread. And because, let's face it, Hauer nailed that final scene as we like to say in the vaping world "like a beast" He improvised much of it, cutting out many lines that were written and boiled the life of Roy Batty down to a few simple yet brilliant sentences. Well done Rutger!
