Awww, @Vera, don't do a vote thing. It never works out well. Don't make the members choose one friend over another.

Put all the names from this thread into a hat and randomly pick the testers, or you decide on who you want the feedback from and gift to them.

I went to "Watched Threads" and where it says "replies" I left clicked on it and it shows how many people signed up for this (38) and how many times each person commented in the thread. It's the easiest way to get who entered without having to go thru 220 posts and counting or listing them.

It's also the easiest way for someone to look at who entered and who to vote for, if they decide thats what they want to do.

I had a neighbor who came over when he got his TC device and said "You have got to get one of these, I chain vaped all day and didn't get one dry hit." In reality, this is the experience we would be voting for, one friend over another. I knew almost all of the entries from ECF.

I am grateful for this opportunity, but no more than anyone else who entered. Whatever Vera decides is fine with me.

That's all fine and good, but the average vaper is not going to go looking for that info. Of course it is great to have it available, however. I personally never watch or read the very technical reviews because, like a whole lot of folks, mostly care that it functions as described and how to get the most out of my vaping experience. I trust that Ijoy is testing this device thoroughly before release and, in fact, I have watched the video from a few pages back where the kanthal mode was being tested. Now what I want to know is how is the real user experience! :)
I agree the average vaper will not go looking for the info but this thread is about beta testing. The beta testers would be providing feedback to help improve the device for public release. So in that aspect this info would be useful coming from different type vapers.

Guys, if I let you vote for the test candidates? who will be picked??
I'd vote for myself, but I don't want to come across as greedy. [emoji23] I do think that this would be a good mod for someone who wants to get into dripping but doesn't want to dry hit or invest in nickel or titanium wire until they know that they enjoy the whole RDA experience. Then again, that would be me. [emoji38]

I'm with the ones suggesting a random draw in the end. Good luck y'all!

I would tend to lean towards a random draw over a popular vote candidate, if one of the tester slots is being considered that way... Ideally, everyone who put their name in the hat is qualified to meet basic requested parameters

I absolutely agree with you, sir. Everybody that entered wants to test it weather they are technically inclined or just a person who enjoys vaping and I believe both would have a lot to offer wiile testing it. We were all invited to enter and it's fun listening to everyone's ideas and how they would test it. Heaven Gifts have been more than generous with all the prizes they gave to everyone and the big sale they are having. Thanks for the fun!!

I can't vote for just one. I would vote for @Bikenstein and @USMCotaku, because both have explained things in easy to understand ways. I've posted more with Bike, and I know how much info he ha given me. That guy knows his stuff. Both would be good choices. Oh, and of course, there is me. :)

I think a random draw would be a better way. I know they need input from experienced vapers but input from someone new to these kinds of mods could be very valuable as well. Someone new to this is going to be more concerned with ease of use and reliability more than every little technical detail. Someone more experienced may find it easy to understand and use, whereas a new user may find it confusing and difficult. Therefore some less experienced users giving their input would be very helpful. After all, you can't just rely on current users to sustain a business. Gotta attract new customers as well.

I agree. I'd like it for all to share the opportunity, not a select few. But thanks for the votes of confidence you guys ..:) I'm a winner already
I can't vote just one because like I said before there are several participating here that I would trust to do a good evaluation. I think most would rather see you make the choices.

Not sure I like the vote deal for picking a tester cause all that does is get a popularity contest going... I had assumed it was going to be another contest deal, with the expectation that those who won would need to comment on ease of use, how it works, likes and dislikes and such.

Being that I've never used a TC I guess I'm out, cause your not looking for a newbie to the TC world...

Not sure who has experience with them at this point, but I think Shawn H does a great job at explaining things.

I thought I had a chance at being a tester, but I am still thankful for the coupon code

They have never announced what they are looking for in reviewers specifically. So your chance is still as good as anyone's. I don't think it's necessary to have extensive knowledge of vaping to give a good review of the Asolo. I would be interested in what a new vaper's thoughts are as well as a veteran's..:2c:

I've been vaping for years, one of the first vendors I used was HeavensGifts. I just feel asking for votes to pick the "chosen one" to be the tester is wrong. You are correct though at this point anyone could be given the opportunity to test this awesome product...

Hmmmm... many comments on this voting issue...

I think you @Vera need to define the preferred level of expertise you want the tester to have. If you want a newby, someone who can give you the responses a first-time TC user is likely to have when buying your product, there are many of us here who have not used TC mods yet, so we'd all likely vote for ourselves. If you want an experienced TC user with reasonably good ability to convey the ups and downs of the mod, I would vote for @USMCotaku - he's both knowledgeable and a good communicator. If you want this to be purely a personality favorites vote, I know several people I'd vote for, but there are absolutely no guarantees that you'd get a good tester that way, but merely a king or queen of the prom.

I don't think you'll be out of the running just because of a lack of experience with tc. They may want such perspective.

I don't think random is the best solution for them however. They probably want to select a diverse range of testers, and random doesn't fit that bill.... They could end up with all experienced users, or all new to tc users, etc..

I don't believe the voting is for all the testers, just one, though I don't know. Either way, it's their ship to captain, and I'm happy just to be on it :D
