?
where'd you hear that?

He just mentioned in this vlog occasionally, but sorry it is not special topic about Asolo. I dont think he will release a vlog about Asolo even.I am a fan of Phil, so basically I will wait to watch one by one.
By the way, I think Asolo did greatly on Kanthal TC mode, whereas Innokin is trying to do a different way, which is hard to see the products out so far.
=)

Phil Busardo just dont recommend to use Kantal wire to match Asolo's TC mode. That's what he said.

He does not say that he does not recommend using kanthal wire to match asolo's tc mode.

just watched and 3 to 5 min in what he did say was the asolo does not do true temperature control with kanthal but what it attempts to do is burn control with kanthal.

which is what I want.

Okay, so from my understanding, he didnt think Kanthal is good to be regulated in that way. Still have bugs at least, I GUESS what he might think so. hence, I will use Mech mod(direct output)+ RBA atomizer instead of so called kanthal TC mode, getting performance without burning test as well.

He's also a bit wrong about that as well. The mod really is doing regulation on par with temp control....just using a different parameter of taste instead of temp.

I think it could probably be done to an extent. But I believe its going to have to come from a solid manufacturer that has proven themselves in the past, and not just throwing one thing after another out to the public to let their customers be the ones to find out if the products work or not. It would be something great to see though.

I have one in hand....and I can tell you it does work. It has some limitations yes, like it doesn't work well with contact coils, but with the right build, it works great.
