I initially wasn't going to purchase one based on that review, but after reading through this sub forum I've decided to get one to see for myself as there seems to be a lot more positive reviews than negative ones. Also the fact that Imeo seems to genuinely care about his customer base and is offering a lifetime warranty on any problems regardless of who's fault it is is a huge positive in my books.
Once I found out the grade of material used I can't fault that either, it's perfectly suitable for a product like this, and the "o ring" issue is really nit picking.
I'm glad I read further and am now looking forward to owning one myself :)

Ive had rattling issues but it is easily solved by tightening the bottom piece with the switch. I just tighten enough that with a loose grip, it wont turn anymore and my hand slides over the battery section. He also might be experiencing rattling because batteries are different thicknesses. Nothing a little wad of napkin between the edge of the battery and the exterior casing wont solve.

As for the button falling out, Im having the exact opposite problem, I cant get the button off to put the magnetic switch in. I have up for now on it but Ill come back some day to try taking it off again. I tried using pliers on the part between the brass ring and the button lock (with the button lock all the way up (or locked)).

The only thing lately Im having trouble with is vaping consistency. But I dont contribute this to the GGTS but more to my inability to use the device and possibly the quality of the 901's I am using. I never have been a fan of the 901's primarily because I cant find a good supplier that can both keep them in stock and not have them burn out in a week. I have however finally found a good supplier for 510s, I have a 510 that was my main atty for 3 months (until I switched to the GGTS last week) and it was still kicking when I made the switch.

Not meant as an insult, I use my SB for dripping when Im at home and I dont want fiddle with the GGTS. The GGTS is a great device that Im now using (when it works) as my main ecig and when it stops working, I just drip with my SB. Again, its probably just me regarding the GGTS not working consistently. Im pretty stupid when it comes to mechanical stuff.

Anyways, Im off to bed. I think we might be seeing another GGTS upgrade, I know Imeo isnt going to just let this go...he's going to try to 'fix' all the issues this guy mentioned, even tho many dont need 'fixing'.

littlewierdo,
That was me venting........and his whole review was an attack..........

There was more behind that in my book....His whole review was an attack on GG...It was obvious in my book....

Ive moved on, offered him to come to GG-forum here, if he had any questions or issues there is always someone to help....But like I said, I wouldnt be surprised if that guy ever saw a GGTS v2....There was more behind that..to me atleast...

I didnt get to watching or reading the review yet, will have to do that tonight (just popped in for a few minutes to see if there was anything new going on).

I know from my own personal experience that whenever someone has anything negative to say about the GG line of products, it gets pretty vicious.

Alot about using a product is making it your exclusive device and being willing to tinker with it to get it to do things you want it to do. He may not have done that. I have converted, using the GGTS as my exclusive ecig for a week now and Im still having some trouble with it (which I wont go into here).

The GG community needs to be careful imo. We (or they, since Im not sure I fit in just yet) arent (or shouldnt be) elitists and alot of times, it comes across that way.

Just my two cents - thats all I can afford right now...

TBH I didn't find GG community to be elitists. I'm finding it the contrary!

Losta of friendly folks, willing to help just like that, not to mention the support I'm getting from Imeo harassing him with my stupid questions over PMs and I never felt even a slightest insinuation in my direction to bugger off!! (sorry about that my good friend, :D and double thanks here so ppl will know).

I couldn't agree with you more. I've seen this time and time again. Any time someone has a negative comment they're viciously attacked and accused of having ulterior motives.

Why because he didn't share your views. C'mon not everyone is going to share your views or opinions. That doesn't mean they're not entitled to them.

No Harpo, because the commet like "thats the end" and by not saying something good for GG means what I think. Its not hard to undertsnad buddy.

Thanks a lot for your kind words my friened VPD. I will tell you that even the o-ring is not a real problem my friend. O-rings are made in Greece by a small factory. They work exellent , they just have some material more from the one of their sides. I made them food proof because of my concern for o-rings too.

We're perceived to be elitists by a whole lot of folks in the vaping community. And to the uninformed, perception is reality.

Again, the article was a bit presumptive and drew some pretty overly broad conclusions from his messing with a friend's new ggts for a short amount of time.

Had he simply written that he spent a little time with the new model, and for certain reasons preferred his version 1, this would be a non issue. (For everyone but Imeo, but we know how he is at times...)

There's a whole lot of hackles raised for just one guys (IMO unfounded) opinion. That really doesn't do a lot of good for us in the non-GG vaping community.

Little my friend, GGTS has no issues. All this noice is for nothing. I expain everything on previous posts. But what do you mean the GGTS is not working? Maybe you need to sand the axis and the base of button? I made GGTS so user friendly that even a house wife can repair it.

If I was an american supplier no one would had problems with me or GG. Am I right?

I never even thought about the fact that juice comes into contact with the o ring, I fully agree with your use of food safe ones and it shows the thought you've put into it as well as your concern for your customers well being.

little, its me again:D

You said: "I know from my own personal experience that whenever someone has anything negative to say about the GG line of products, it gets pretty vicious."

Thats wrong buddy. We have problem with people that cant find any positive for GG like this guy! Its not more than obvious what he tries to do?

You also said: " using the GGTS as my exclusive ecig for a week now and Im still having some trouble with it"

Please tell me your problems. If you have trouble I can solve it. But saying that you just have problems, that doesnt help anyone, not me , not the potensial buyers, not you. Agree? I think that if your problems were serious you would have said them here:)

I am waiting to solve them Little

First of all I cant see those comments Harpo. And second, if someone says so bad things about a product without real a reason then those words that he said (maybe in a later post) are useless. They are told just for fun. The damage is done. He reminds me a saying here in Greece: I will burn you John but no worries I will heal you soon :lol:

ps.....and something last Harpo my friend. Where did he found all those "issues"? GG is exactly the same as it was before. And if his main issue was an o-ring and by that o-ring GG is over, that means many things for me and for all people here.
