Thats wrong buddy. We have problem with people that cant find any positive for GG like this guy! Its not more than obvious what he tries to do?

imeo, you really should do some homework before making comments like that.

Let me give you a little insight... (which your local distributor could probably help you with).

Tokes is a regular on the Australian forums, IRC and meets. He was also one of the first to own a 2009 GGTS (complete with every accessory ever made for it). And he made sure everyone he met knew how great a PV it was. He was one of your greatest advocates - by a long shot. He proudly showed it off, defended it's price and gloated over the build quality.

Tokes' praise for the 2009 GGTS led to Hopefull buying one. His praise also led to a fair few people to buying them from Hopefull.

His post was comparing the 2009 and 2010 models. He came in contact with a 2010 version after a cry for help from another regular (who blew 9 atties in the first 1-2 days using it). The issue turned out to be user error - which might suggest that something needs to be done about the instructions.

Tokes still loves his 2009 GGTS, but wasn't so impressed by the quality of the 2010 model. So he he posted about it and copped a mouthful from the fanboys.

And that's to be expected. But as the manufacturer, you shouldn't be discrediting one of your better advocates simply because he said something you didn't like.

Dinium, very nice post my friend. Ok, lets say that things are exactly as you said. Lets say that Tokes was a big GG supporter. That doesnt mean that he cant go on the other side for his reasons, yes? I dont say that its true, I just make a hypothesis, ok?

Now after this small prologue can you please tell me in what exactly he was right on his review?

First of all I cant see those comments Harpo. And second, if someone says so bad things about a product without real a reason then those words that he said (maybe in a later post) are useless. They are told just for fun. The damage is done. He reminds me a saying here in Greece: I will burn you John but no worries I will heal you soon


ps.....and something last Harpo my friend. Where did he found all those "issues"? GG is exactly the same as it was before. And if his main issue was an o-ring and by that o-ring GG is over, that means many things for me and for all people here.

Of course there is another reason for this. Tokes was so ungry about his friend that blow 7 atomizers so everything on GG were bad in his eyes. So he made that bad review under the pressure of the moment. But you cant make a review under those conditions Tokes!

That's not true. You used a different grade of Aluminum, the switch is different from the original ggts, both caps are different, and the engraving is different. Plus IMO if you would send these out with instructions the switch issue could have been avoided.

aluminium is always aluminium, nothing diferent here

switch is exactly the same. Maybe you had the flat top but all next 2009 users had the rounded top.

Caps are aluminium, nothing changed on design exept the venting holes and he didnt complained about this

Engraving was different ok because it says different things (big difference to the quality of GG?)

Are these all the reasons that GG lost its first place it had on PVs world as he said??

Not true. He was quick to point out that this was a user error - not the fault of the unit.

Hmmm, Lets just say it was the Tone of the review, more than the Content that put everyone one edge including myself.

The tone is what it matters Zor, you are right. He didnt mention something serious there for GG. But its tone was the right one to make the bad impressions.
I have a clue of what is happening and about the people behind this but I am not sure yet. Some people do the dirty job always because they have small soul. Tokes is not one of them, I dont think so. But we have to live with it buddy. I am 42 years old and this stuff is a prosaism to my life and to anyones life, so I dont really bother. But I just want to make my best to stop this silly situation. It will never end of course but we have to try always for the best.

Eastmall does this Din my friend? I didnt knew that and its of course a very bad tactic. Its a dirty tactic!. And this was not my intention of course. I didnt want to look like this, I just said what I saw. I saw a man that made something in purpose. But if he didnt do it in purpose then he had to come back and edit, or change his post. Or better to come here to talk with me in public or send me pm. I didnt saw anyhting of those things. To my opinion Tokes is not a bad person, he is just a person that dont really know how to appreciate my work. Maybe he talked with the wrong people too. Thats the most possible.

But as I said to my previous post, lets move on the journey. This station was long enough.

Hi All. I can't compare the new GGTS with the old as I am a new GG user.
I received the new GGTS-AVS and the Slim on Monday and I must say, with the size of the GGTS-AVS, it is very light and I am liking it. It's as light as my Joye Ego with mega batteries. To me it feels sturdy and granted, there is a learning curve in using this beauty.
I was vaping on 36mg but with the AVS, I have to cut way down lol!
Also, I had a lot of help from the guys down under. They were fantastic. You know who you are
All in all, I believe the GGs are great products and with Imeo providing lifetime warranty tells me that he has confidence his products will stand the testament of time.
On that note, I'm gonna have a few more puffs on my GGTS-AVS and go to bed
