I'd like to see this thing dropped from a harley going 80, found and vaped....

Cool idea!
We should test it just as soon as Rob drops a REO with RDA for under $30!
That would be fair right?

Pay close attention to who started the bashing in this thread.
It wasn't the members who were interested in this mod.

Absolutely.....if one can't afford it that's one thing, but that shouldn't excuse the fact that what they are selling is the exact mod that someone else came up with and worked very hard to perfect ...... I understand what you're saying, but I think you have to consider that it will last FOREVER .... Its bullet proof!
this owl looks plastic and cheap.... Well obviously $22......

(...)

You really must make up your mind.

Either it is "the exact mod that someone else came up with and worked very hard to perfect" sold at 22 bucks and made on purpose to take money from "the great guy who invented it", or it is a "plastic", "cheap" copy - in that case, it is NOT the same thing, and 22 bucks seems to be a fair price. :)

As stated elsewere, "Mercedes buyers don't buy Kias, Kia buyers don't buy Mercedes."

And a Kia is not an "unfair copy" of the Mercedes just because it has four weels, and engine and is sold at a much cheaper price.

My only thought on this mod is this... it looks like a fair investment of $22. You'll probably get your money's worth.

I'm not disparaging this mod as I've not held or used one. Hard to go wrong for ~$20. If it sucks, no big deal. If it's great, money well spent and may be a gateway to other BF mods. The more bottomfeeders the better, as far as I'm concerned.

I think this clone could actually play into the Reo hands, sure a lot of people have wanted to try a reo, but not pay nearly $200 for it, me being one of them people, so now they can buy this $20 box, and if like it, then people will then invest more for something like the Reo ;)

Bottom Feeding has always bin a small part of the vaping scene. Up till now if you wanted to try BF'ing it required a fairly big investment, this has stopped a lot of folks from trying it. This unit is inexpensive compete with atty and basically every thing you need to give BF'ing a try. IMO this unit could bring up the popularity of BF'ing. For those who didn't like it well they only laid out a small investment to find out BF'ing wasn't for them
For those who really like it they can move on to a higher quality piece with full confidence they will not be wasting there money :)

I got to play with one of these mods today and was quite impressed with it and the included atomizer.
The person who had it had drilled out the air holes a little and had a very, very low build in it. So low I will not even mention how low as it is not safe to push a battery this hard.
The mod switch was handling this build just fine. The mod is a great size and shape. It fits your hand nicely.
To me this may be one of the best deals available at the present time.

A no-name. It was a hobbyist who built a wooden box with a door, an 18650, a juice bottle and a drilled out atty. They were very expensive. It didn't catch on due to the price.
Not to mention, box mods weren't exactly "in" at the time.
I bought a Carlos juice box in early 2010 I think. It wasn't the first squonker but it was the same basic design as a reo except it had a homemade built in atty. Waited months for that thing and the vape was harsh. Probably due to the 100 percent PG 18 MG juice I used at the time more than the atty, lol.

The reo is superior to this box I'm sure but not everyone will or can buy a reo. Squonking is making a comeback and that is a good thing in my book. Some of those people will move on to better set ups. This won't hurt rob in the slightest. It will show other manufacturers that there is a higher demand for squonking hardware.

I agree....I'm pretty sure rob is on stable ground.

Why do we need to mention the REO over and over?
    This isn't a REO.
    It's not a REO clone.
It looks nothing like a REO.

It's a $28 squonker that just might introduce bottom feeders to a market a million times larger than Robs.
They might finally see what all the fuss is about, leading to a future REO purchase.
Which would probably make Rob a very happy Squonk maker.
Id be rubbing my hands with glee, laughing maniacally, looking for a large production facility.
For a Squonk box maker, the future is so bright they gotta wear shades.
