Knights Rum review:

Okay, I had a feeling my gut instinct would be correct. I do get a faint hint of Butter rum life savers like 69CamaroSS pointed out, but it is too miniscule. I just do not like this one at all. It tastes like stomach acid to me. I like alcohol. The vapor flavors of it, not so much. Opinions and personal preferences are all over the place, and that's what makes vaping fun! I am so happy you guys are liking this one... it's just not for me!

Blood Oath review tomorrow!

If anybody is willing to trade any of the 28 Days flavors for Knights Rum, I would trade this. Just PM me. :)
I'm sorry to hear you don't like the Rum, but everyone's tastes are different. I love them all and wont part with one, but I'd trade a non 28 Day's flavor for it. I have lots of flavors & brands to choose from.

I got the Cross into a 1.4ohm Protank 2 last knight & love it. I plan on loading up the Foggers today (I'll be vaping all flavors with multiple setups). I'll also be cleaning the Magma and loading it with Sea Siren (since it's high VG & best in drippers).
This still blows me away & am looking forward to trying it.

I generally use a glass DT - it was not a pleasant sight - it looked as if it had been through a knight's battle (and lost) 8-o. I found the taste of Blood Oath to be consistently best around 6.5 watts & a 1.5 ohm coil. The taste of a tasty, fresh-baked chocolate cake was predominant with sweeter undertones of buttercream? icing - not quite tangy enough to be cream cheese, but definitely more intricate than vanilla. The flavors meld well & have great depth. The viscosity is perfect & it wicked well through a factory Aero coil, ReadyXWick, cotton & also a silica build. As much as I like the taste, I just can't get past my issues with the color (including tank, tip, wick & coil cleaning). But, boy! it sure makes you take notice of a gorgeous tank when you fill it!

Have a great 1st day at work today, Raider! Edit:-- 2nd day, now - Geez, I'm always behind!

Giggler, How are you feeling today? Better, I hope.

I loaded up Knight's Cross yesterday afternoon. Will spend some time with it today. First impression is that it is a very nice, clean, vanilla custard flavor. Compared to another custard I have tried, it's a tiny bit lighter in vapor production (which, I find--maybe subconsciously--adds to the sensation of creaminess). The other vendor's custard, however, was 100% VG, so that was to be expected. The nice thing Cross, is that it with the lighter feel to it, it also tastes cleaner than the other.

I too have Knight's Cross and a rival custard in tanks. Both are 50/50 and both aged at least 4 wks

The rival is really a good custard. More sweet and a heavy pudding-like creamy texture.

Knight's Cross is an authentic custard flavor with the egginess hitting and then some sweetness with a creamy texture. It has a brighter flavor and the vanilla is cleaner tasting than the rival.

Both are great in their own way but if I had to buy only one, it would be Knight's Cross. It is a light, all day vape that isn't over the top on sweetness and really gives me that "I just ate a wonderful baked custard" satisfaction and it doesn't contain diacetyl, acetoin, acetyl propoinyl, or butyric acid.

I had asked the other vendor and he said that custards can't be made without at least some of these. I knew when he said it, that he was incorrect but wasn't going to debate it since I had a custard without them and now I have 2. The other without is very dark from the vanilla where yours is more of the baked custard golden color.

I've been out all morning, so I need more time with the Cross, but I completely agree with your comparison. My "other" is from an organic, 100 VG shop and is very, very good. But I cannot vape it all day, whereas with the Cross I feel I can. The other, too, is very dark. I'll report more on it later--I just wanted to get this down in case I forget.

Tell you what, I am spending some time with Knight's Cross right now, and loving it!

I may be a little biased, though.

Thanks to Sir Dave, I have confirmation that my package arrived today and is ready for pick-up! I will report back after I've gotten my hands on it. ;)

:rickroll:

Sorry if I have been a little scarce in the past day or two, the Mrs brought us home a 7 month old 50lb puppy. It's like having a HUGE infant! haha
50lbs, oh my! What type of pooch is he/she?

More complete thoughts on Knight's Cross:

A good ADV. A lighter flavor than other Vanilla Custard’s I’ve tried, but that means that I can enjoy it throughout the day without my tongue becoming fatigued. While the vanilla is prominent, the custard itself really comes through: this is a vanilla custard, not just vanilla served as custard. And, when I say “lighter,” I also mean that its color is lighter: the juice is a translucent amber, almost orange, flavor; much lighter in color than the dark, viscous juices from other vendors. The lighter flavor also means that it is not so in-your-face as other vanilla custard’s can be, and shares well with food and beverage flavors that might be consumed at the same time (my kids cracked open a bag of barbeque chips and the vanilla went surprisingly well in between handfuls). I found the sweet spot for me to be between 7-8 watts on a stock, 2 ohm coil in an Aerotank v1 using an MVP. Higher than that, the sweetness of the custard begins to diminish.

Possible improvement: Thicken the juice just a smidge (perhaps 40/60 PG/VG) as it’s low viscosity did start to flood my coil about halfway through. Readjusting the airflow and bumping up from 7 to 8 watts cured it, but I could see this as being one potential gripe.

Comparison: The easiest Knight flavor to like because it is not as exotic as the others. But that’s also what makes the other flavors so intriguing.

Next is a return to Knight's Rum.

Knights Blood Oath review:

As promised, this is my 3rd review before my final roundup. :vapor:

I'm surprised this is 50/50 like the others. It does seem higher in VG with thickness/wicking issues. Smells good. Tastes very close to the real thing (red velvet cake). I am getting a sweet cream cheese icing on the inhale, and fluffy moist cake on the exhale. NOT sugary sweet, as I said before I really dislike cheap sweeteners that subtract from and mask flavor profiles if they are there at all. This has not been my experience with 28 Days Vape. This is surprisingly authentic and I would only change one small thing...

I do get the occasional "warm rubber" taste I believe others have pointed out as well. Don't know if this is a wicking issue, it does not taste like it is. That's the only thing I don't like. The flavor is very top notch.

As for whether or not the color is a problem, I noticed the red does not stain the walls of my clearo, nor the glass bottle it came in. It does "bleed" into fabrics/paper towels however. I will report back after a thorough cleaning to see if there are any heavy residuals. For a dessert flavor, I like it.

OK, first day of training is on the books and I am gainfully employed, ending an almost three year drought! So happy to have a job again, and so is the wife ;)

I have been vaping on these the last two days and have some reports:

Knights Cross is just a good all around flavor and very pleasant to vape. I wouldn't change a thing.

Blood Oath is about the same for me, very good and nice to vape also. I'm not sure how it could be improved but if there is a way I would probably still like it.

Knights Rum just isn't for me. I think it is just not a flavor I look for or want to vape, that's all. Everyone's taste is a bit different right? My wife seems to like it though so it won't be going to waste here.

I am very grateful for the chance to try these out for free. It really is a neat thing to be apart of this. I hope everyone has a great weekend, and I know I will, its my first real one in quite some time!

:censored:, rangerrobin! What do you have to do to get these flavors in your hands?! Regardless of what you think of them, you should get a Knight's award for your efforts.
I know, right! :censored: It will have taken 7 days. Okay, technically 6, but still. Nothing I order ever takes this long. Early on, I'd given Dave my PO address because we didn't know when they would ship and I didn't want it held up undeliverable because my office is closed on the weekends. Shoulda, woulda, coulda...;)

Hallelujah, today's the day!
