Ok everyone, I have the system in place. The first envelope is stuffed and labeled, ready to go out the door. The total shipping cost to all US members is $1.80.
Thats $1.64 for postage and $.16 for the yellow 6x9 envelopes. The wire is wrapped around a 6 in pc of cardboard, and comes in just under 2 oz.
The wire itself including the cardboard is just over 1/2 oz. So we will call 100' of wire 1/2 oz even. 16 oz in a lb., 32 packets per lb X 3 lbs of wire = 96 members.

We have to start the reserve list at member #90. I will prob get more wire, depending on how this goes. I will have sanjosse edit the list so I can get to rolling.

Once I have 20 or so envelopes ready I will start the PM process. So far I have done like 6 sets and I am down to about 4-5 mins per set. They are nice and neat, so there should be no issues with using it on your end.

EDIT: I forgot the PP fees. So the total for US members is $2.15. The breakdown is on the Spreadsheet.

You're not keeping any for yourself? :D

rusalka and myself bought 3lbs of wire to give away for free to anyone who wants to pay shipping. :)

You're joking right? If you're not, that's extremely generous of you. You are already going out of your way to do this, it is just not right that you should shoulder the costs. I would like to chip in. Feels awkward not to.

It's no joke man. This is what this community is all about, helping each other out. There has been a lot of negativity lately. So when I came across this thread and saw that rusalka needed some help getting it off the ground, I stepped in to make it happen. It is what it is, free wire for great people.

Ok everyone here's how this is going to work. I am going to PM x amount of members to get your PP addys. Then I will send you a PP invoice. You will pay the invoice. If your shipping info differs from what PP has on record, add the correct address to the notes when you pay the invoice.
There can be no mention of E cigs or ECF. They will shut down our accounts if this gets mentioned.

Please wait for me to invoice you to pay so this remains organized and structured.

I will get a few more packaged up tonight, and tomorrow I will get a bunch done. I will start the PMs either tonight or tomorrow.

tibs was worried about a plan... :)

Hey all here is the link to add yourselves to the reserve list. I under estimated how much heavier this wire is when I did my initial guesstimate, working off of 32 Kanthal weight. I am pretty sure we will end up with round 2 after this ones wrapped. Get it, wrapped, like coils and wire. Oh yeah I just made that up myself.
