3.0 boge on reo grand question

I've had my Reo Grande for 2 weeks now and I love it!
I vape at 6 volts with the boge 3.0 ohm. Sometimes however,
No matter how careful I am pushing the button and drawing some of thes cartomizers seem
to burn up very easily. Am I flooding the carto perhaps? Are some cartos just bad?
Thin juices seem to be the hardest to keep from burning. I'd say 1-2 per box of five are like this.
I'd like to stay at 6volts and the 4.5 smoktechs have to much resistance on the draw for me.
Any advice or insight would be great. I'm using two aw cr123s btw.

Sounds like you are not giving them enough juice. Flooding usually does not burn them for me. At 6V you need to make sure they are always wet. The problem with cartos is once you dry burn them the taste tends to stay.

Yep...sounds like a bad batch from boge.... they have had quality issues lately.

I vaped 3 ohm boge at that voltage for a few months. I had to learn to squonk very lightly ever 3-4 hits or they get burnt.

Its really too much voltage for them and only worked for me with 1 of my flavors (tobacco).

I still cant believe how much life people get from cartos! Ive never made it past 5 days with 1 carto before it started tasting nasty, And no I dont run them dry. In fact I squonk often with them just to make sure. Im always pulling the drip tip to see also. Interestingly, the longest lasting carto Ive had was a Boge 3 ohm!

Is over doing it when juice is just wetting the drip cup? I hate the burnt hits so i squonk till i see a little juice poor out the tip into cup

are you blind squonking or just pushing on the bottle? I run 3.0 boges on all my Minis @ 6v with no problems all I do is put 1 on blind squonk a couple times let it sit for a minute then fire and go and I vape mainly high VG or 100% VG juices squonk it a little more often in the begining but I do only get a few days best case out of them but since I buy I bulk so i get them for about 60cents a piece

just in case you don't know what blind squonking is its when you push lightly on the bottle while drawing lightly at the same time till you hear a gurgle then stop pushing on the bottle fire and go you should get juice in the juice cup with a carto

Thanks for the replies! I do a little blind squonking and sighted both. I think I flooded the ones I had problems with-they are very wet. On thinner juices,I've learned to tread lightly on the draw or hitting the button,especially when the carto is new. I think I'll forgo the condom method and let the juices flow in drop by drop topside. I vape exclusively Ms. T's. Which are heavier on vg with exception to her citrus flavors. I think mostly it's a bad batch of cartos.
