Donning my flame suit...

It's tough to beat a 3.7V source and a 1.5Ω dual coil carto tank or a decent clearo! VV/VWs are terrific for full batt charge life enjoyment. But there's absolutely nuttin' wrong or lacking with da simple matched (VDC & Ω) combo!

If one seeks their next taste/enjoyment level, they must be prepared to spend money, time (experimentation/modifications) and endure disappointments. Many here do not have da money to 'invest', regardless of time available.

Ergo, if your eGo batt and joose device satisfies more than your VV, guess which one I would recommend! Your taste buds should be da final judge...

or maybe I'm doing something wrong :l

Not doing anything wrong. The fixed 3.7volt and 1.8ohm head vapes at about 7.6 watts. It is a good number for most liquids. The VV should just allow you to adjust up or down from that. I would think, in general, a higher resistance head would allow a wider range an the VV.

I've got a lot of different VV devices. Best suggestion I can provide is to just adjust it to whatever taste good to you. Your the one the device has to please. Sometimes just 0.2 volts can make the difference between a good vape and a great vape. Or a great vape and a burnt coil..
