Hello all, I ordered 3 cisco 1.5ohm low res atomizers for my eGo about a month ago. First one lasted until now and died a few days ago, I pulled out a new one, never got very good vapor from it and it died within 24 hours. I attached the 3rd brand new atomizer and it died within 5 hits. I'm a bit frustrated having spend almost 30 bucks on them shipped. Was it a bad batch or maybe my eGo had something to do with it? Any insight is appreciated.

Are you sure they're dead? Maybe you over flooded the atty and they just need a blow out. You can also try a dry burn. That's a lot of attys to be dead in one week for sure!! Don't give up on them untill you try to clean em.
I had that problem a few weeks ago with 901 attys. at least 6 died within a day each. They all died all of a sudden, no burning or popping, just one minute they worked fine and the next minute dead and yes I checked them on a multimeter. I used them with different mods at different voltages, the only common demominator was my juice. I've since put the rest of them aside for now and got some more 510s and am using different juice. I need to get a new 901 out and try it with different juice to see if that might have been the problem.
I recently bought ten cheap 510 attys thinking each one would last a couple of weeks at least. They're lasting two to four days and this on my 3.2 volt ego batteries. I had some joye attys that lasted months and they had me spoiled lol. China quality control doesn't exist!
Yeah its pretty frustrating especially knowing my Reo Grand will be here tomorrow and my attys won't be here until after the weekend =/ . Good call on the juice, it very well could be that, I ran out of the stuff I've been using and switched to my last resort stuff recently.

I don't know the why's and wherefores but i recall seeing that Avid says not to use some of their 1.5 Ohm attys on an eGo...?

Oh the other thing it could be is if you vaped them too dry... 1.5 is pretty hot and if it's too dry it will burn the coils for sure... LR 1.5 caveat; keep them a little wet.
Azzhten, have contacted Avid Vaper and let them know how many bad pieces you got? I'm not sure exactly what their warranty is, but they are supposed to be "premium" atomizers. I'm sure they at least replace DOAs.

From what I've read. 1.5 ohm LR atties/cartos is supposed to be meant for IMR/high drain batteries. The draw is around 2.5 amps and ego (or any big batt) simply cannot deliver the amperage that LR requires for them to work. Since the switch is only 2 amps. Basically stressing the battery until it causes the mosfet to fail prematurely.
The 2 ohm Cisco's works great on a REO for fruit/dessert flavors. I hope that this experience doesn't shy you away from the 1.5 ohm atties. You should try out the 306's later on when you get used to things. They work great for tobacco flavors and give you good warmth in the vapor and a strong TH.

Really, you literally have no clue to what your talking about right now. Do you think that they changed the switch and circuitry to the Ego battery or any big batt for that matter? The information that is out there still applies. It's NOT recommended that a person use a 1.5 ohm atomizer or Dual Coil cartomizer on your ego battery.
I can tell that you have not done any research at all about what does and does not work for ego batteries. Yet, YOU are the one going out there telling people "ol' wifes' tales". Please, stop harassing me about this. You have no merits in your arguments except, "I've used these for X amount of months and they're great". Give me a break.

A lot of those LR eGo kits come with 2.0 ohm attys instead of 1.5. That brings the current under 2 amps.
