Trog was very supportive and sent me instructions on how to replace the switch went to radio shack and they had them, with a little solder work the operation was a success the SD is in full recovery with its new button and is vapping just fine but will have some scars on the body from the dog attack.:)
Thanks

Sounds like you need to teach Fido what side goes in his mouth for vaping. He just wanted to try it out!

Seriously though... glad you fixed it. My button broke off after taking a nasty drop, but a touch of super glue fixed it right up. If the button went missing... I imagine super gluing a pencil eraser or something would have worked. The big button is just attached to a smaller button underneath.

My SD broke also... it quit producing much vapor after a couple of weeks. I replaced the atomizers and batteries to no avail. Any trouble shooting hints?

Have you contacted trog? (Assuming you bought it from him). He is great about repairing/ replacing problem units. Especially if it is a recent purchase.

If only I could bring myself to spend $160 on a screwdriver, it's just so expensive to me I can't do it.

You need to factor in $2 batteries for the SD in comparison to the $12-$20 cost for the batteries for the PV you probably currently have. Over time the SD pays for itself and vapes about 100% better.

So how is the dog? 8-o

Mine got hold of my slippers once. ONCE. (I had made them myself so I was extra ticked off)
She never touched another thing of mine, and she's fine, healthy and spoiled rotten still.

Thanks for your concern Wildsky she only got the switch not the top with the cart so she didn’t get any nicotine
See has her own:D

It took me several months of vaping before I was willing to part with the big bucks to buy a SD . . . it took me awhile before I could wrap my head around spending that much on a device.

I now have 2 SDs.
