Just found this thread when looking up "little sister mod" I have to try one of these... Thanks for the previous posts and pics !!! Would like to do a variable mod to it!

It will be hard to put 2 batteries AND the voltage regulator in this thing... Really hard (unless you plan to put just a single pot instead of electronics).

That's the Little Sister, the Big Brother uses 14500's in a 2AA battery box. BTW, can you get those boxes in Szczecin? Gdansk has a shortage

Last time I was checking, there were only open boxes (batts holders), without a switch nor closing :/

Just found this post...great little mod! I noticed that the ebay seller also has a 2AA lighter...anyone do a mod on that?

2xAA? Can you give the link? Can't see it... it'd be nice.
Another thought: it'd be a nice idea to use a Stick-510 converter inside this mod. If you know Stick you know its 510 converter is a tube, which has 510 thread inside it. This way all the liquid which has ran out of the atomizer, is inside the tube - and not inside the mod Just like I've done this in this mod: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/167701-my-version-stick.html

The 2AA version is only shown when you select the options. It's configured a little different and looks like the atty/carto would stick out at an angle, unless you did some cutting on the case.

Well, I tried to pop the center out of one of my 510 connectors and the rubber ring split in half, so it is now 2 rings not one, I think that messed it up. Must have been old cause it broke with very little force. I have one more 510 connector, still intact, so I am thinking about just trying to solder the + with out removing the center piece. Do I push the wire all the way through the center hole and solder on the threaded side, or do I solder on the non-threaded side, pushing the wire into the hole just far enough to get a good connection? I know to be careful not to get my solder on the - side of the rubber O ring.

It would be nice to find connectors that are already pre-wired.

MadVapes was 510 sealed, prewired connectors for $2.99, dollor more than unwired but worth it IMHO

I also want the connector to fit with part of it sticking "up and out" of the lighter but then the connector is not available for the ground because it is too high up in the case. How can I make this work? I tried a ground wire from the connector to the spring but can't get it to fire. Any ideas?

Thanks for the link and info....just got a handful of 'em in the mail. They are an easy 3.7v w/juice feed mod. A 3ml bottle fits in one of the battery slots just fine. On my todo list when I have time.

The type of connector makes no difference, nor does direct contact vs a wire for your ground. Have you checked for continuity with your meter at all points in the chain?

I got it to work - thanks! I had to turn the battery the other way and she fired right up! Duh! That was too simple!!

Good, but actually that doesn't matter either. It was probably a simple connection/contact issue.

Hm, maybe it's time to buy them then... In this little version I had to put the juice in something made of silicon caps from cartomizers

Thanks for the find. I thought the box was custom made for the little sister. Great to find out it's a lighter. Now to build my own VV mini.
