I agree Darkly, I have a DNA 200 with a 1000mah lipo. I get approx. 3-4 hours vaping on it. I am a heavy vaper and run a Arctic tank at 60 watts. I'm in line to get a Wismec. I love the chip but pretty much every mod available today does not have enough battery to be usable unless your vaping at 25 watts

I know this isn't exactly about the rx200 but it is the mod Im using.
just picked up a tfv4, which BTW isn't what I expected it to be. Im using lg hg2 batteries. from what I gather It isn't safe using that tank at 100 watts with a .2 ohm coil, am I right?

Not safe for the coil/tank or not safe for the batteries?

Resistance doesn't factor into the amp draw on vw devices. Watts and battery charge level do. The rx200 has a cutoff around 9.6v (3.2/battery). Add 5-10% to the wattage to account for device inefficiency. So, with 20 amp batteries you're good for around 180w:

    192w (180w + 6.5%) / 9.6v = 20 amps

Yes. Check steam-engine.org, great resource for calculating battery drain, designing coils, and much more.

I went to steam engine calculator and clicked on the battery drain tab. I put in all the info for a regulated mod. After clicking my battery when I put 9.6 volts its around 10 amps. so changing the voltage to 9.6 is the right way to get accurate measurements since theres 3 batteries?
BTW, I thought I was posting in the rx200 thread so considering my question doesn't apply to anything in this thread I appreciate the help, well I appreciate it regardless.

When it's three batteries in series and the cutoff is 3.2v/battery, yes. The amps are then the same as for one battery. If in parallel, the voltage is that of one battery and the amps that of three. The end result is the same pretty much, in terms of amp draw per battery, and battery runtime.
