A couple or three months ago CherryVape stopped production of the original clear Cannons and started making them with new materials. I love them too. I beta tested a new one for two weeks straight on a 1.5 ohm 306. Unlike the original ones the new one didn't crack or cloud up like the originals. There is a possibility that the ones that are giving problems might be the original version.

As suggested, contact them and they will probably make good for you. They are great people. You'll probably be dealing with Cheryl.

BTW... my new favorite 306 tip is the Pyrex.

That is because the originals were made from extruded acrylic vice cast acrylic, right from acrylic manufacturer's sites. Machining stresses will set up in extruded acrylic whilst cast acrylic will remain stable and are unaffected. The delta? Price. Cast acrylic is 4-6 times more expensive than extruded.

It's great being able to see the juice.

I totally agree! One of the greatest advantages of the 306 atomizer IMO. I always know when to feed, even before any changes in flavor take place.

BTW, you guys were right. I contacted Cheryl through their website, and was promised a new tip immediately! No questions asked! After a little exchange through email about how cool it was that she was replacing this for me, I received this response:

"Hi Corey,
As the manufacturer, we feel it's our responsibility if something happens. It should go out tonight.....
Take care and thanks again.
Cheryl"

I hope this post isn't inappropriate for this forum, but I felt I needed to say something about the fabulous experience I had in regards to this matter.

Thanks for listening,

ok...well I'm confused from the responses here... I bought this from Isaac here at IKV, and IKV doesnt sell a "ming". Maybe I'm wrong here but it sounds like the op was told to and did email "cherryvape" the manufacturer?
I never heard of "cherryvape" (till I googled them after reading this thread) but, if I do have a problem with my canon dt (don't think I will), I will email Isaac, as he should be the one to let know if there is a problem with something that was purchased from him. jmho

i got a clear one and no signs of cracking or clouding. like everyhting in the ecig world sometimes you just get duds it happens. but i need to get ahold of a glass 306 drip tip. thing looks sic and in all honesty id guess pure flavor from glass. becuase its non reactive with e juice.
but i will say the 306 atomizer varys by manufacter a bunch. i have some bauways and no names(maybe boge dont know) and the bauway fit snug and 1/3 the way down but the draw does nothing but suck the juice right out of the atomzier. while the no names it sits literally at the top wont go down an inch. but the draw is better and it vapes great at about 4v. just luck of the draw glad they fixed it right up.

The thing I don't like about the regular 306 drip tip is it puts your lips too close to the atty making it very hot. The cannons look like they allow you to put a little distance between your mouth and atty, which is why I've been looking at them. The pyrex, although they look nice, seem tapered in such a way that your lips would want to rest just above the atty. It seems to me that the heat from the atty would make this drip tip uncomfortable to vape with. I would be interested in hearing what those who have actually used the pyrex ones have to say about the heat issue.

I'll PM you when mine come in. I ordered two just because I felt the need to buy something lol. I've heard there is very minimal heat transfer but that would depend on where you put your lips (I would assume) --

But the Cannon's on the other hand have no heat transfer unless you put your lips down near the silver band/bridge of the atty. If you keep your lips on the tip then it's fine - and I do 8 second drags without issue on my LR306 with the cannon.

I've been using the pyrex for over a month now, maybe two months, on 1.5 306 and I've never noticed much of any heat. I love the clear cannons, and all of the CherryVape DTs and have a sizable collection of them. But my new favorite 306 atty DT is the Pyrex. I love it so much I just got in a second one, backup, just in case I loose or break the first one. When you click them against your teeth they feel and sound like a "plastic."

One note on any 306 atty DT. I've ordered LR 306, from several places, for months now, IKV being my favorite. Two that I ordered, months back, are too small to hold any DT. And I don't remember where I got them. The only DTs that fit them are the DTs that came with them. I did find one clear Cannon, out of seven clear Cannons, that would at least not come off when I take a toke. There are variations in all 306 atty, even in the same run, but those two are drastically different in size. So if you have an atty that no DTs will fit on snuggly, most likely it is the fault of the atty and not the DT.

Shouldn't have happened .... I prefer the Black ones myself because they are delrin.
I assume you got it from Isaac because you posted in here, but either way Isaac or Cheryl at Cherry Vape are two of the nicest people in the business.

Good luck.

I certainly agree that the black are much tougher but I'm really hooked on seeing the liquid, especially with bottom fed Reo and Phidias. I don't really need to see the juice but I like to see it.

I'm wondering how many of the older version clear Cannons are still being sold. As I've said before the updated material that came out early this year is a better product.

I whole heartedly agree with you about Isaac and Cheryl being two of the nicest persons in the business. They are both sweeties.
