I'm suprised they lasted that long too. I ran out and bought a prepaid gift card as soon as I saw the sale.
Still waiting for it to clear :( ...it's been verified for online use by amex
but PM'd with Abe late last nite and still have hope it will work :)
Wish their USA office was here in the SF Bay Area instead of San Diego.
(not saying anything is bad about S D, loved being stationed there many years ago)
I JUST WANT MY EGO.:)

Hey Abe? When the riva's do come in is it possible to substitute a regular 510 atty for the LR one instead? Just curious because there have been reports of LR atty's killing Riva and Ego batteries as of late and I would rather not even get one with the starter kit so we don't ruin the batteries prematurely. If you want the link it's in another vendor's forum here on ecf, but people have reported up to four batteries dying in ONE day all of a sudden from LR atty use...

Its probly a week because it spends a day or two in each shipping wharehouse depending on the load of the shiphouse, PLUS it maybe being transported by freight which means long because crosscountry driving for fedex they take their time ( i have a friend whos a shipping manager for fedex) SOMETIMES however, if fed-exs loads are too big and slowing ship times they will ship by air.....sometimes...rarely. So a week sounds proper from something from west to east coast.

We use fedex on orders that we can't get in to priority boxes. Well, that's not true as of either today or possibly Monday, viritually everything will be going USPS, priority (or first class if it is a small value order). This is good news as fedex ground is terrible, it's actually usps (part of the leg anyway) and we only use it because we didn't figure out how work the old priority game. If you received a tracking id then checked straight away on fedex say then the tracking might not work at all as it might not have been scanned by the pickup driver yet.

Coast to coast shipping times have been amazing for me. If history repeats itself, I will have more goodies tomorrow. Hats off to LF and the USPS.
