I ordered 4 Davide Clearomizers last Thursday and they arrived on Saturday! $65 shipped. 1st the tips, I like the shape better than my 2 protanks for puffing on. The tips being removable for easier cleaning without jacking with the juice is a plus. I only have one other tip and it fits fine in all four tanks. The tank glass is taller than my pro's but they pull is about the same across all 6 tanks. Using a k100 mod but before filling the tanks for the first time I pulled them apart and cleaned them. The tanks came apart with no fuss and went back together with a solid fit on all 4. No leaks after the fills, did a small shake test on all of them no drips

Jim,

I am now waiting on the larger stem and glass to be available ... I like the protank and the Davide's I just wish they held more ... I really like the carto tanks for there volume but the spill factor bugs me. I went with the k100 because I knock stuff around and well the k100 has a pretty good takes a beating and keeps on ticking for the money. I can slip this in my pocket (shirt or pants) or set it anywhere and no it's not going to make a mess

no not really, boiled down to the Davide was in stock and it was cheaper than the out of stock Protank II ($15 a piece with $5 in shipping)
Didn't check the rules to see if it is ok to post where I ordered from ... Is it kosher if I give them props as they packaged it withing 2 hours of the order and had it out the next morning (Friday) and it arrived on Saturday.

I like the Davide tip a lot more than the protank, it's not much of a difference. The Davide is a little more hour glass shaped with the curve being closer to the tip, seems like a more solid easier pull...

If the protank II has the same shape tip as the orginal, I will stick with the Davide

If I randomly picked up a protank or a davide I can not tell a difference in the pull, vape cloud or anything else...

Love the Davide. I can say it's superior to the PT1 (imho, YMMV), but haven't had the pleasure of the PT2 yet to compare it to. I also have the mini Davide on order, for those out and about stealth moments. I will order the PT2 soon, and make a proper comparison. Next week for that. Should have my mini's and a backup Davide in by end of the week. Very nice clearo, perhaps the best of the best. I have yet to try another better clearo., Congrats on your new four!

I will have to a wait a month before looking for the mini davide's ... with the four tanks and the crown 2.0 I'm way past my suggested budget, but hey it's a new toy ! Besides the 1 bad glow plug spot on new tanks

As far as a compare between the two, at 3.7 volts out the battery with a k100 it's a even match for flavor, pull and vapor cloud. Both are making a cool vape (which I like), a drip carto has a much warmer feeling. I don't mid the airy draw as some refer to it as. Not as big of an issue on the k100 as the base is a snug fit to size of the k100 tip which restricts the draw. I tried one of tanks on another mod and it had a lot more airflow so I can see why some people don't like it.

Something to Note: Both the Protank and Davide (assuming the protank II also)

Once the glass chamber is almost done your vape production and flavor are toast, vacuum or pressure or shrug reason
On the Davide this occurs when the fluid is just a tick above the filling holes...
It's not your battery you just need to top off.

PRO's

Easy to fill, unscrew the bottom set it down for the Davide or PTII pull the tip and the tank sits perfect for filling. on the orginal PT that is a balancing act, if you don't hold it it's real easy to knock down

Doesn't Leak .. you have to get pretty rough with rolling it around and shacking to get juice in the main tube, no accidental pocket messes (unless you drop it while filling it) I keep three spare tanks in the original box the protank came in (just cut out the foam inserts from the three packages and they all fit in one case with spare coils

easy to clear overfill or a small leak (gurgle) unscrew a small blow out and it runs great again

spare tanks ready to go ... just screw off the empty and screw on the new, no need to carry juice bottles if you have a few tanks.

Solid full vapor hits - in this mech mod you must have a fresh battery due to overall low watts (5ish on fresh battery) you can get huge clouds on a fresh setup

Cons

Low tank volume so not able to vape 2.5 mil .... all said and done it's about 2 mils of useable juice (possibly less, will verify this once I can measure top off etc.. juice bottles I have now do not the mil's marked)

Pressure loss (or what ever it is) when tank is low and pulls go to poo

Light pull overall (I'm ok with it but wouldn't mind a little tighter draw)

Looking forward

Larger glass upgrades ... no really I want to be able to use more than 2 mil at a time!
