Not sure if it just took me posting about it, or what?!?! But ever since I posted this, it's been working just fine?! The only thing I did was tilted it straight up (no juice touching the coil unit) and fired a hit. Ever since then, I've had no issues with the flooding! *Not sure if that's what really fixed it or not, but I'm just grateful to have a fully functioning PT2 lol

For my side I've been using my Protank for a month+ now, the 2 atomizer that come with the protank will leak and gargles when it reaches 1/4 tank of juice and after a few experiments with it it turns out to be the wick size, now I've reset my both protank atomizer with 3mm wick with a resistance of 1.2Ohms it produces a good amount wape and flavor at 8.5watts(3.0v to 3.01v) and it didn't even leaks till the last drop.

I love the design and look of the PT2, but as mentioned previously, they just don't perform well with 100% VG (which is my current ADV is). I've tried everything. Removing flavor wicks, rebuilding the heads, modifying the top cover thingy. It works, but the flavor is very inconsistent.

What I really like is that you can change the heads out without emptying the tank with minimal fuss. I can change the heads on the vivi nova's only if the tank is at least half empty, and that's not pretty.

I've got some SS mesh on the way, I'm going to try that. I really want these tanks to work with my favorite juice.

Oh, and you can get replacement tanks at gotvapes for a very reasonable price.

Paul what wire size and type are you using?

I'm Using 30mm Kenthal(High Resistance) wire with both 5mm end wrapped together with Nickel(Low Resistance) Wire that left 20mm kenthal and will wrap the Kenthal 4 wraps onto the Wick. Hope its help...... Chears

Kenthal wire = 0.15mm
Nickel Wire = 0.2mm

I love my Protank IIs. I have one of them right now with a 28g micro-coil at 1.5Ω sitting on top of my Smok Natural with an 18350 battery. Lovely setup that is fairly small and extremely reliable!

Got mine today for my ego-c, at first the draw was super tight with very little vapor and then I realized it was missing something... the ego thread cover which comes with the PT1 but not the PT2...? This is my only PT so for now I have to loosen the tank from the battery to get a good draw. Wish I would've noticed this before ordering. Doesn't make much sense to include it with the old version and not the new one.

My PT II came with one.

Getting one of these just for the heck of it. Looks like clearos have come a long way since I swore them off.

If it lives up to the hype, I'll get another to play around with SS mesh in. Pretty eager for it to get here. Long time no vapemail

Btw, are the fasttech ones kosher?

I got mine yesterday and popped it on a ego twist, filled it with arctic wolf and 555 and what a difference coming from a k3! Now, just have to wait 3 more days for the provari to arrive....hurry-up monday!
