Hey everyone,

I used to use a Joytech Ego Megatwist with Cubis Pro.. at around 20-30w. I just bought a new Vaporesso Target PM80 podmod and some nice 65/35 juice.

What I'm noticing is an insane burst of flavor, and what seems like some actual juice in my mouth... however I've ensured that the coil isn't flooded, not spitting, and there is no actual juice going into the mouthpiece. Even inhaling without firing I can tell that there is no juice coming through.

Is this just an insane amount of flavor, or is the vape condensing back to some juice in my mouth? I instantly salivate and have to lick my teeth and swallow after each hit.

It's kind of annoying but also not bad either. I just don't know what's up if it's me, the juice, my kit, etc.

Anyway thanks for listening to me ramble!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It could also be that your new kit is delivering your vape at a higher wattage. I find that higher wattage will translate into a warmer vapor and also usually translates into more flavor. It's for both these reasons why I don't vape higher than 15W, 18W at the most, and stay above 1 ohm on the coil.

I'm not familiar with the PM80 but it looks like just a regular old variable wattage mod that takes a pod instead of a 510 tank. If I'm right, then try decreasing the wattage by at least 10W (to start) and see how it differs from what you are experiencing now. If no difference, then go even lower.

However, realize that lowering your wattage too much may result in flooding/gurgling if you go too low because you aren't vaporizing the liquid fast enough for the coil/wick in that pod. You will have to find a balance.

I would have said it was flooding/gurgling and you were getting juice instead of vapor but you seem to be sure that's not the case. What is the nic level of the juice (mg)? If it's 12 mg or higher you would taste some bitterness. Might just be a very intense juice (as mentioned) I tend to think some commercial juices are too sweet and too much flavor (that can be nice for awhile but then becomes too much for me) More details would help... which juice, what power level (watts), how hard do you draw, is the airflow adjustable?

I watched a video of the PM80... actually not a bad mod/pod at all. Takes two different coil (mesh I think) and is very nice. The only thing I wish it had variable airflow (but I like looser airflow so would be very happy with this myself) Learn how to use the power modes (and always start lower and work your way up) Make sure the coil is inserted correctly (push in... airflow has to be lined up correctly) I've heard this was a nice device so took interest (even though I'm tired) and would actually like to get one myself (Vaporesso is a good brand) Not sure, but maybe 70VG/30PG might be better (even though it's called a "pod", that's a common misconception... uses "sub-ohm coils and no need for "thin" juice like little pods) Which coil are you using? Hope this helps... enjoy the video"
