Light dusting of snow for this Friday. Wonder what will happen this evening. There has been a major accident every day on the ride home on this one stretch of the Taconic. Wonder if it'll go 5 for 5. It is a nasty piece of highway.

This happened on the road i live on, about half an hour after i passed that intersection last week: *not for the faint of heart*

nobody died amazingly enough.
and about 8 hours earlier, a motorcyclist was killed on teh same road about 2 miles away. trying to outrun teh popo.
problem is, that road is in an isolated part of Austin, so there's no alternate way around it due to the hills and lakes and llamas and tree sloths and i assume leper colonies...i really should learn what's around me one day. it's a nice wide 4 lane+turn lane road, but if anything blocks it up, your stuck.
