I'm glad this thread reassured you! Let me know how you like the vision ego and kanger t3. I can't decide if i should get both or two of one, or even the EVOD or MT3 (they had great reviews). I'm gonna keep researching this month and decide by the 19th on what I want to get. I know i'm gonna get two Vision Spinner 1300mAH batteries. I have been chain smoking lately due to meds and stress from college so i'll need a big battery. I'm just stuck on what tips to get. I usually take deep drags on cigarettes till I feel the burn in my throat so I know these batteries are my best bet but i'm not sure if the tips will have anything to do with flow as well or if the tip specifically deals with flavor potency.

Keep in mind when you go to get your juice that it's PG that gives the throat hit and VG that gives the vapor. Order the combination accordingly.

T3 and Evod are the same basic design; T3 is slightly larger and the spare coils have to be bought with their bases, which makes them more expensive. Evod is smaller but heavier due to the metal shell; the coils can be purchased without the base, which cuts their price in half! You can't go wrong. Try the eGo-clearo--it's a top coil design, which is different. :

You are missing standard cartomizers, which I personally advise every vaper to have on hand. Once you get used to filling and using a carto correctly you may find that they suit you just perfectly(my wife will only use a carto still to this day), and at ~$6 for a box of 5 they are handy to have on hand for backups as well. I would add a package of Boge or Smoktech cartomizers(2ohm) and keep the needle tip for filling those.Just my two pennies.......... Happy Vaping.

Thanks! Gonna see if I can add those to my current order placed yesterday. If not, hopefully I can get them without paying shipping. I should be going to the next town over so i'll look at our local smoke shop. Hope I have a local store around that I can pop in on when I need urgent supplies!

Boge and SMK cartos are available for $6 and free shipping from Surevapes.

Very nice selection and a great kit! I would add a couple of extra coils for your clearomizers (2 for T3 and 2 for eGo)--I like 2.2Ω coils the best; they are the most versatile.

Sorry i'm still a noob. lol What are the coils? I saw three parts to the tops: the outside portion with the tip you smoke from, the portion with the wick on it, and the small metal ring that connects the assembly to the battery.

AHA! I see, the cone is the top portion on the battery where the threads are for the clearomizers to attach. Do the threads ususally go bad quickly? Would I be able to wait say two weeks? Trying to wait for my next paycheck. Already about $100 into this new hobby. haha

Looks like a great starting setup and should last you a long time. Many people never upgrade from what you listed right here. Congrats.

Thanks! That makes me feel a lot better on my choices. :) I always research and compare everything thoroughly before I make a purchase. I'm glad to know that I made the right choice.

Plus it looks like the thread helped others as well. My only question is how did you scam some Birthday money???? I don't think I've gotten that since I was about 8 years old. lol.

LOL on the birthday money! I guess i'm quite spoiled. My mother still gives me money for my birthday. I am, however, 26 as of the 30th so maybe that makes a difference? Although I still feel 18/19 at heart (and got IDd for EVERYTHING while I was in Kauai a couple weeks ago, including a DVD at Walmart that I needed to be 17 for!) My sister and I always get each other gifts for birthday and Christmas. I got cash this time cause I wanted jeans (obviously it went to this). My grandparents usually send birthday cards. They haven't arrived but we have a forwarding mail address so i'm assuming that's why.

I guess I just have a loving/caring family. :D I just can't wait to start vaping!:vapor: I feel like i've been wanting to chain smoke lately and with all of this hot/cold/hot/cold BS with the weather here, I have an obnoxious cough that I just can't shake and i'm sure the cigs don't help one bit!

I did get the Vision eGo and eGo ce4+v2. Are you saying to try those first? If so, the funny part is that's all I wanted to get at first cause ce4 is what I have actually used before. But, I figure with the great reviews on the others and recommendations here, I should probably try a few out and find the best fit. I do have to say though, I like the way the clear tanks look over the metal evod but that's just me being a girl. lol

The heads are the a wick+ coil/ element together (1 piece) that can be replaced/ screwed down on to the base when the old coil gets gunked up.

You're batteries will have 2 diff types of threads- 510 and eGo:
    ego2e.jpg

My Vision Vivi Nova heads (all clearos basically work on the same principle) are lasting 10+ weeks. I wash and occasionally dry burn them. They cost me $1.50 each so my costs are 15 cents per week. Just be careful as certain acidic juices will damage the plastic tanks.

For a great starter kit ce4s-p-6-in-1-rechargeable-1300mah-electronic-ecig.
You get 2-1300mAh batteries, 2 clearomizers, a charger, and a case for $21 with free shipping. It's from a chinese company, but I and others I know have ordered from them multiple times and they're really great. They're highly recommended on ........'s blog. Their customer service is top notch- if something doesn't work they send a replacement out straight away, and often you don't even need to send the defective one back. Their shipping is pretty fast considering- about 10 days for me to receive my various orders.

Thanks! I think i'll order that set in a few weeks as backups. Knowing me i'll forget to charge batteries one day or leave the extra battery at home.

Hi and welcome! I think you tried pasting a link but it didn't go through. This one is $70 but includes two tanks (your choice of colors), two variable volt batteries so you can still vape while the other is charging, in your choice of color and size (I personally recommend the 1300mah Spinners), and the charger. That might possibly be the last e-cigs you ever need, outside of some replacement coils (cheap) or new tanks...

    http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

It wont be your last thats for sure...My freind has gone thru 4 Ego Twist in 5 months...always button issues...
If you want a Mod that is build to last....well you know-buy a Provari...
Thanks! I'm gonna check that out. I wasn't trying to post the link, just using a quick way to put the ecig I was looking at. Here is the link if you want to see it.

1300mAh EGO-CE4S Portable Bag Double Stem Battery Display Voltage Adjustable E Cigarette-Black - $27.99 : Buy Electronic Cigarettes From China E Cig Manufactory
Are these above even Genuine Joye Ego's? Looks like a clone........
These look like clones also.......$20 for 2 batteries/charger/ and some kind of cheap tank..Im telling you it wont last long..... You get what you pay for in life.....

T3, eVod and Vison eGo come have changeable heating coil. When one coil get gunked up, you just unscrew it and pop a fresh one in and you have a brand new clearo. Great invention! The old coil can be cleaned several time; I soak in vodka.

Atomizer Head for Vision Ego Clearo 2.0

That said, they don't have many coils in stock ATM.

You only need one T3 clearomizer--and an extra coil or two, 2.2Ω or so.

I did get the Vision eGo and eGo ce4+v2. Are you saying to try those first? If so, the funny part is that's all I wanted to get at first cause ce4 is what I have actually used before. No, I have never tried the Vision eGo, and never had much luck with CE42...

I own and like an eGo CC clearomizer (AKA Kanger T2) from a different vendor. It has a top coil.

It looks a bit different from what MVS is selling, notice the short wicks. So, I can't recommend the Vision eGo--simply because I've never tried it.

If you need a backup, get another Spinner, maybe smaller (650 mAh) or an eGo-C Twist (also 650 mAh). you may want to have a smaller battery when you're out and about. Don't buy cheap knockoffs.
