5+ volt advice

I haven't been on this forum in a very long time. I had been using my trusty Xhaler for about a year and half now and it finally died on me. I tried searching through the forum on new High Voltage mods to replace my baby but have not been able to find anything other than just a few peoples reviews of the only mod that they own.
Can anyone give me some search terms to look for or suggestions on some of the new mods and technology out there? To give you a starting point, the last time I was on this forum, the "Chuck" had just been released.

Thanks.

What type of HV mod are you looking for. There's lots of them out on the market now and you can get something in most price ranges. There's also variable volt such as the Provari or Buzz, they're pretty expensive at around $150. If you want to go 5v cheap there's boxmods from Madvapes that'll run around $30. They also have the Maxi Roughstack that'll do 6v and it's only $55 if you want a metal tube mod. If you give a bit more info it'll be easier to steer you to stuff that interests you.

Thanks for the help path. CS kent, I'm not concerned with price. Are the box mods reliable? I ran into a guy who said his always clogged up and he went back to his prodigy about a 8 or 9 months ago. I read about the Infinity (users suggest problems), Provari (looooong build time) and Darwin. Are these the new and innovative mods out there? I got burned on many mods in the past and want something that will continue to work until I need another 6-7 months from now.
BTW... I'm still using my original SB but just doesn't compare.

I'm surprised your thread didn't get flooded with Provari recommendations. The Provari and Darwin are some of the newest and most innovative units currently on the market. They're pricey though. I can't comment on how well they work as I don't own either. I've had boxmods and they work pretty good, they just aren't as durable as a metal mod. I dropped one onto concrete once and it wasn't pretty. They aren't going to clog up unless you do something wrong, but that's the case with any PV out there. If I were in the market for a new mod and cost wasn't an issue, I'd probably go with a Provari at this point. But I'm happy with my Silver Bullet and have no intentions of replacing it anytime soon. By the way, the SB will do 6v if you want to set it up that way. The manufacturer doesn't recommend it but quite a few people do it anyway.
