didn't think think was allowed... gotta read those rules again I guess...

the classies used to be a place where members helped other members acquire things they wished they could afford etc... you had your occasional entrepreneur... but it was more of a hook a brother up kind of place... I'm sure those good folks still exist... but what thread are they hiding in ;-)

Hey I was into skulls and things.... When I was sixteen and a no good rebellious twit. I have nothing against the occult, just don't think, as a vaping community, THAT is the image we want to project. We want legitamacy, yes?

Than why the headshop look? Maybe I'm a grumpy, stodgy old man at 27. : ) lol

Its not alllowed.

Always read the Classified Rules before posting something for sale, or buying something, in the ECF classifieds, as the rules are updated sometimes.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-guidelines-updated-often-without-notice.html

There are also profiteering rules. These apply to items currently being produced, whether in stock or out of stock. (They do NOT apply to devices or items not being manufactured anymore.) Markup cannot be more than 20% and it shows you how to calculate that.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...classified-tools-please-read.html#post7553553

If you see profiteering, or anything else against the rules (i.e. members adding Paypal fees to your purchase in a PM to you, which were not mentioned in the ad --- that happened to me and the buyer was adding $$ to every sale they were making which was over and above what was posted as the price in their ad)-----{paypal fees are supposed to be added to the selling price in the first place so buyers know the total cost of their purchase beforehand, not get additional suprise fees in PMs}

you can use the little triangle with the exclamation point inside to report the post.

The report post function is in the left had side of every post here on ECF, to the right of Blog this Post.

Mods cannot comb every single ad in the classies. Also, sometimes members posts items and have not read the rules and don't even know they are breaking the rules. To keep the classies safe and wonderful for all, we all need to chip in and help everyone understand how to sell and buy properly.

There really are instances where honest mistakes are made, but the person didn't know. You can certainly PM them POLITELY and give a heads up. :) Do not post snarky comments to anybody's ad......EVER. Because then you are the one breaking the rules. :)

I often help people with postage calculations because they do not know that Paypal has a shipping function, which will save both the seller and the buyer a little bit........stuff like that.

We are all here to help each other you are correct tango!

Yes, believe it or not :p people do use the classifieds without ever reading the Rules. :vapor: so a lot of honest mistakes are made.

they are called Ihybrid LE because they are Ihybrid "Limited Editions" which means that they will never be produced again. They are ridiculously tough to buy... u have to refresh constantly to get the golden BUY button before the other 2000+ people vying for the 200 models get it on their computer. When they are sold out, they are sold out for good. Then they start showing up in the classifieds for 500 dollars, or for a dozen 100 dollar vape items for trade. I just read the rules again and I dont see anywhere where it says Limited Edition items that are no longer being manufactured are OK for price gauging. But I could be wrong. I just roll my eyes and move on :/ I wish Ihys were up for 250 in the classies but I don't think Ive ever really seen one for that price. The Ihybrid PURE is gonna be pretty cool though. $100 for a nice aluminum hybrid that (should) be available 24/7 to any1 whom would like a good quality hybrid. There are vids on youtube showcasing the design already :)

I think I'll take my U-Can hybrid slap a serial # on it an sell it for $350.00. LOL!!
It's really all about "perceived" value.
What some see as a high class mod worth big bucks, I see as 2 bucks worth of parts and 3hrs. build time. Oh, & 10 bucks if I want it laser etched.
Don't get me wrong, there are some really nice looking mods/attys, but the price..... nah, just can't see it.

I couldnt imagine paying that much more than retail for anything. Makes me mad enough to want to boycott all the sellers that attemp to gouge. Really the only way to make my point, and make me think they are worthless as humans (that may be a stretch- but definitely not friendly).
They can be the elitist and I will find something else to make me happy, and keep a few nickles in my pockets.

Way back in the day, when America still had a manufacturing industry base, I worked in the machine shop of a large co on 3rd shift... Our work mainly consisted of cleanup/fixup of the 2 other shifts screwups... And, as long as we were able to get our production done, the bosses didn't really care what we did in our 'spare' time... Back then our 'spare' time projects consisted mostly of car stuff (it being back in the early 60's), but today I can see so much potential for cranking out a few mods a week with no probs... :)
