Sad to say that I think Nicoticket has officially priced me out. Sucks to find out that the reasonable price I paid for my first order was a special price that has gone away.

I paid $25 shipped for 50ml of CLS. Now 60ml is going to cost $38 shipped. Can't afford to be paying that much. It's a good thing I didn't think CLS was that great anyways then.

Not being a hater here. I understand it's a business and that they are changing their model a bit. Switching to premium glass bottling and beginning to charge a more premium price because the market allows it. You guys have a broad and loyal following and I wish you success in the future.

Me too! But I can still order the smaller bottles occasionally so that's a good thing. :) And it wasn't like I was their biggest or best customer.

I can't decide if I want to order and get one of the first glass bottles with the black cap for nostalgia on down the road, or just wait until the purple cap is back. I like black but I don't want to break the steady streak of purple taking over my steeping chamber.

I'm sure that placing a wee note along with a future order would result in a extra few purple caps to replace the black ones when they become available at minimal expense if any. ;)

Which leads to this inquiry. Are the new "sample" sized 60 ml bottles the same diameter as the 50 ml old ones? Just planning ahead a bit as this my require an adjustment to the size of the steeping chamber. :p

Good to see someone is planning ahead!
I just brought home a 1' x 2.5' wine box, now I have to go measure the height!
Thanks Distorto!

Edit: Price hike coming just in time for the ECF effect after Nicoticket does a clean sweep at the ECF juice of the Year Awards for 2014.

Sorry to price you out my friend... some are "going up" (IE, no longer being discounted), some are staying the same, and some are going down. In the end, it flattens out the pricing structure. As an aside, the pricing structure has almost zero to do with the "ECF Members Choice Awards" - we had the opportunity to raise prices after we swept the Best of ECF 2013, and we left the 20% no coupon required discount in place.

Any way you wish to cut it, It's still a bargain for the quality of the product especially considering its an average of $2 less per bottle than most premium juices one would purchase at a local B&M and in some cases, other vendors on the net as well.

Perfectly acceptable considering as one would imagine that with the new move, your overhead has gone up.

At my B&M I bought a 30ml bottle for $35 (just to support them, kinda hate the juice but it was all in the name of buying something...) and that was a juice made here and just driven over. These prices are more than reasonable especially as something like Grand Master Reserve goes for $35 plus shipping at most places.

My one juice I MUST have at all times is GCD and the comfort I get from it even at the worst of times keeps me from smoking. THAT is worth any price to me!

So out of curiosity how much of the pricing structure has to do with trying to get into B&M locations?

(way up) we make less per bottle now even with the increase in price... But, it's a better product, especially from a consistency perspective.

That's some part of it... I have to build margin for retailers into my model otherwise they get undercut by the website. That, and most retailers expect a double up, with a minimum of $4.50-5 profit per 15/ml bottle. It's a delicate balancing act attempting to serve two markets that are extremely different. I envision NT as a working man's premium vape, a good value for the money. Premium liquid with middling prices. The 9.99/18.99 price points puts us exactly where we want to be... $2 lower on a 15ml bottle, and $3-4 dollars lower on a 30ml bottle (as compared to most premium liquid).
