These are the 1st 510 adapters I've bought and I'm not satisfied with them. It seems to me the quality and fit leaves something to be desired. What do you think? Am I being too picky?
I also bought a full length 510-to-510 adapter and this one doesn't have the issue of a gap when connecting the atty. I know they were only 4 bucks apiece, but I feel like returning them for a refund or credit on another purchase (like more of those Stardust tanks, now they are nice)
510 eGo adapter: I bought this to use on my ProVari with eGo cones&tanks and the new Stardust tank. If I screw the adapter in the ProVari's 510 connector all the way down, then screw on an atty, the atty does not screw all the way down. Note the gap in the pictures.
It seems like the center post is too long. Look how far it extends when the atty is screwed all the way into the top of it.
mini 510-to-510: Not only does this one appear to also have a center post too long. It wasn't even assembled correctly. See in the picture how the gasket and center post were not even correctly in place. I had to push it out and work it back into the correct position.
And it has the same alignment problem. When screwed all the way into the PV's 510 connector, then trying to attach the atty - the atty will not screw completely into the top of the adapter.
