noticed that if i screw the adaptor to the buzz all the way first then the atty next, there is a gap between the adaptor and atty

but if i screw the adaptor to the atty first then to the buzz it doesn't go down as far and there is a gap between the adaptor and the buzz

I've used the adapter both ways and it works either way, so I don't think there is a correct way. I have a VP2 and that's a different story. It would only work if you screwed the atty into the adapter first .

I go 1/2 way , I have never had it short ?????
HUmmmm

On my original screw I had one adapter that when it screwed on it went all the way down until it touched the top of the Buzz, it didn't stop. If I put a carto or atty on it, then hit the button, the short light would come on. If I put the atty or carto on the adapter first then screwed it on the Buzz that didn't happen. Since hubby changed the screw it doesn't happen anyway but I just got in the habit of putting the carto/atty and adapter together first before putting them on the Buzz.

Happy vaping!!

really? in a week or soo, guess im gonna take my package back to the mail office and tell them i didnt order anything from you, then when you get it switch out the 901 buzz and the adapter and put a silver 510 buzz back in and ship it back to me:laugh:

just kidding, im planning on getting a 2nd one anyways, one for heavy vaping at a lower volt around 4-4.5v, and another for my everyday vaping, around 5v, and if the caps can be switched out easy then ill order a 510 cap for my first one so i dont have to fiddle with those tiny adapters that when dropped are a pain in the A to find.

They will be available separately for replacement , only the first orders say below 30 will not be able to replace them at home ( they were soldered connections ) the current Buzz's use a small ring terminal for the wire and screw into the bottom of the connector.

I will make a short video showing how to do it correctly
