are there 2 posts inside the 510 adaptor? when you look at it from the inside the post is bigger than the post on the inside of the atomizer side? is it just one post that is larger on one end than the other or are there 2 posts that need to make contact with each other? i can't seem to get this V2 to work, no matter how much i hammer the post down and pull on the atty post

Yes, i got mine today with the 510 adapter and it didnt work. The post needed to be raised to touch the center (possitive) of the atty bottom.

I took the adapter off and placed it on its not. Used something strong and pointy and placed it on the center post of the adapter and gave it a few wacks with the hammer. It was seriously tight and i tried to baby it at first with a couple light taps but it needed a good wack. Placed the adapter back on and inserted the 510 atty and it finally worked.

I did test it at first with a multimeter and a load tester i made.. it was ot making contact at before.

i cant seem to get my 510 to work either and like you guys did i tried to move the center post with no results ,i did check the adaptor with a meter there is power going up there ,its like the center post is to short

Yeah it will read like its getting power but the center pin on the adapter will not reach the center pin on the atty without moving the pin up on the adapter.

Wish i would of got the 901 adapter and i could of just used a 510 adapter from there.. but i got it fixed.

Sucked that i had to mess with it as i got nailed with a massive flew bugg late last night. Glad i didnt have to mess with the Protege mechanical button.. so thats good hehe.

King -- Judging from your other post - You hit the center post a bit to hard, slicing the delrin, and rendering it useless :) And YES, every single Prodigy is tested by me, not casey, before shipping. Perhaps the post on my 510 is a bit longer than all the ones you guys have :) Either way, King and YoMike, shoot Casey an email and we can get replacements with longer posts shipped out ASAP.

Just a tought but why not send the new 510 adapters to everyone that has the old ones?

Because not all of them need fixing harpo ;) There are roughly only 5-6 out of 150 shipped so far that actually need to be replaced :)

All 510 adapters shipped starting today shipped with longer posts ... Those that shipped last Friday/Saturday ... Although working, I still adjusted up a bit for squished atomizer posts :)

Your right but a lot more were DOA.

Adapters really can't be DOA, and I have yet to see a DOA switch? Not sure what you mean harpo. Like I said, only a handful (5-6) need to be replaced so far -- I guess in your terms DOA. Most, all it took was a phone call, and a walkthrough to adjust the center post on the adapter.

All the hammering that was required to fix it finally messed up the delrin. :(
I screwed on my 510 atomizer and it just spun forever... I was like WTF happened, and it screwed on my V1 tight. So I took the adapter off and noticed I could push the center post with my *finger*.

I sent Casey a ticket for the longer 510 adapter post. This isn't going to work at all. I had no vaping for half the day at work because I don't carry a hammer everywhere I go. :(

these things couldn't possibly have been tested like he said with an atomizer or we wouldn't have so many people they didn't work for.
The only way Steve could possibly ensure that everyones unit works with out a single failure point is to literally test it with your atty screwed on it before it ships, and frankly, ewww.

Its the first run of a new product, there will be kinks, and Steve is calling people personally, and have them call him personally to get the issues resolved, wow is all i can say to that.

Good luck to all.
