510 Atty break in period

New atomizers will not work well until the wicking system is functioning properly. Usually a couple of drips on the bridge, a full cart, and 10 to 15 minutes of soak the atty should take off running. Sometimes it takes a few draws before the wicking is functioning properly.

X2. This has been my experience as well except I don't give it any soak time. I just keep adding a drop on the bridge and 9 times out of 10 it's working fine in 4-5 draws. FWIW, I've had great results with the Totally Wicked atomizers sold in multi-packs.

There's 2 of them, one is further in, I just popped out both of them.

I'll have to wait until later to try as my battery's are dead and charging right now.

Did it to my 901 and it's working great, no moisture buildup now.

I have been using a 510 with a manual switch for a little over a week now and I have to admit that the vapor production is not nearly as much as on my RN4072. The 510 gives more consistent draws which I'm sure is because of the manual switch, but as far as vapor production, I like the RN4072 much better. I don't know if this makes a difference but I don't use carts in either one. I just drip.

I have a question about the 510, though. I noticed some hairs coming out of the side of the atomizer. We have cats in our house so at first I thought they were cat hairs that got stuck and tried to pull them out. Then I realized they were part of the atomizer. Should I pull these out? Should I "tuck them back in" to the bridge or just leave them alone?

my attys work great right out of the box, I put a few drops of glycerin on first and puff the primer out first. after that, they work great.

PS - NEVER PULL OUT THE FIBERS UNDER THE BRIDGE, they provide fluid to the atty coil.

i just got an new extra Titan atomizer today, i soaked it in 75Everclear 151 proof for 5 minutes, blowed it all out clean dried, let the fan blow 5 minutes then dropped 4 drops in it and it work like a champ, it work better than all of my 4 other old atomizers (bought from 2 other suppliers) amazing vapor , no more primer taste. This is a reason why i searched aout 510's atomizer if who sells the best performance 510 atomizer and found this threat.

Notwithstanding any problems I'm having with the multipack, I got some TW attys and there was practically no primer taste at all. I started vaping right away. The original attys I got from Innovapor were oily for a day or so. Anyone else have particularly clean attys?
