510 AVS connector

so to continue....all I know is that without the brass ring for adjusting the juice but with an oring from the 901 AVS adapter it works but then without the adjustments setting possibility and with the brass ring on the connector it leaks like crazy. The adjustable o/ring cannot be set precise and is so loose that the tiniest move will set it to a different setting in my case so much that it causes the leaking into the collectors tank.
Emonty, I think we discussed that. You didnt do yet as I told you to check what is happening. Do it first and we talk again
Maybe better to send it back to me. Your AVS with the 510 connector. I will make a video by opening your pachage on camera and test it live so we will see exactly what is happening. Bad AVS? Bad connector? Wrong use? Results will be shown.
ok done, it does not move but what is the problem then...wrong use...well you tell me when it works with an oring and not with the control ring. Besides that I learned a thing or two....
problem is that maybe connector or AVS is wrong. But lets check it first.
We dont need to seal it totally. We want to leave some air pass via threads. So try this before you send it to me to check if AVS or connector is wrong:
Put atomizer on the connector. Put the ring of the 510 connector in a position that is 1/4 open from the closed position. Tight connector on tank. Put AVS on GGTS. Close CR. Fill with liquid. Close only the big cap. Put o-ring. Close the small cap tight. Put mouthpiece. Vape

I have done all that. My gut feeling is that the AVS tank is not good, not making a snug fit with this conector. I know there are old and there are new tanks without oring around the threading and the walls are much thicker. I have the old tank!

Emonty, one small favor. I will send you a new tank and a new conenctor if you want but first please send me the old AVS and the old 510 connector back. I want to see what is going on first. Then I will send you new items either.
its a fact that if big reffiling cap doesnt seal well we will have a flooding effect Gary. So lets see if this is happening with emonty's AVS and we can talk again

not true, as before without the 510 adapter the tank was sealed with an oring. But please don´t intervein here, this is between me and Imeo right now, thank you!

Guys, anyone can have his opinion and he can post it. Emonty, Gary didnt argue, he just said what he thought. We all will post anything we want in a civil matter and thats it. If someone doesnt like a post he can just ignore it.
Okay, I'm vaping a LR510 with a aw high drain 18650 using vapor renu custom blend (pg/vg/flavorings). What is the sweet spot for settings on this config? And by this I mean the brass 510 connection nut and the CR. I'm getting decent vape with the brass nut choked off (closer to the top towards the atty) and the CR almost all the way down. Still having to take primer puffs to avoid burnt taste. Which should I adjust the brass nut or the control ring to get a little more juice to it? Advice, anyone?

I have only one GGTS, one tank, no end cap so I will not be able to vape like I am now.

the connector works well, although when i screwed on my 510 the hole didn't line up right away, i had to fiddle with it a bit to make it line up correctly, and it didn't end up going on tight, just snug.
but it's doing it's job, and now i can put to use all these 510's i have lying about.
