510 carto for tasting

Is this the kind people use to test flavors? My mod is a wismec 3rd gen 300w

Those are poly-fill cartos. What you probably saw was a bridgeless carto or HH.357. They can be hard to find and pricey (HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer)

Another option is to find a small single-coil rda and swap the cotton.

Definitely has a coil and wick, along with much packing. Meant to be vaped @ pretty low wattage. They'll probably be too much hassle for you to clean repeatedly for diy. And they might end up tasting nothing like it will when you use it in your regular daily atty. Hard to run well with today's high vg mixes.
If you don't wish to use an rda, you can order your favorite drop in coils in bulk directly from China for cheap or learn how to clean and reuse.

I suggest you taste pretty close to how you plan to vape.... because the juice that tastes good in a 2ohm 5watt cart.... probably won't be so good at .25ohms and 100watts

If you're not ready to coil and wick a regular atty, there are some recently available ones that have just ceramic blocks for coils and you just slip a cotton pad in between.

You could use those cartomizers, but they will be useful for only one flavor each as the pollyfill will retain the flavor of the original e-juice.

You want a wickless 510 drip atomizer:

You'll need a 510 drip tip if you don't want to burn your lips.

These are the ones often labeled as for CDB use... but they will work for tasting JUICE.
