So after a few models i have stuck on my 510 which i adore beyond reason. And i was perfectly happy dripping away at my atty every 10 min but then i decided to try and buy one of those third party cartomizer packs compatible with the 510 and... holy mother of god and i happy about this! (my first model was the super mini which used cartomizers, but the batteries were always super crappy and i was not a fan).

So i am curious how many of you use these instead of the classic atty with your 510 (or whatever other model which was not originally a two parter).

I have gotten both the hard and soft tip and the diff is that the hard tips are .......n hard as ....... to pop off for the refill. So... get a pack of soft tips, use em up, and then save them and you can get the hard tipped ones and just pop of the hard tips (somehow) and replace them with the soft tips from your dead ones. Bam! Have not noticed a diff in the amount they hold.

I have the hard top cartos. The ones that I empty, I would boil water and remove the top rinse out ... then replace with a kr808 top. Last night I was vaping through my 5V passthru and the carto emptied, I then figured I would refill using a syringe... .Anyway while popping off the top it started coming loose imediately and found out that it was a hard top while thinking it was a carto I have already opened and replaced with a kr808 top!!!!
Appearantly these hard tops will come off without boiling, just the heat from the 5V passthrough is enough to loosen it up enough.

I actually "crunch" the hard-top cartos.

With the Silicone sleeve still on (as not to mar up the surface) I use a pair of pliers, and squeese the carto (at the plastic tip end) around its circumfrence a couple times, applying just enough pressure to hear crunching. This sees to "pop" the glue bead, and I can then pull out the tip with a simple bent paperclip

Ive done this to roughly 10 cartos, and have yet to crush one, or damage the plastic tip.

I was using an adapter on my Tornado to utilize kr808 cartomizers. When the 510 cartomizer starting coming out I was jumping for joy. I finally got my first 510 cartomizers from Vapor Kings the other day and am still jumping for joy. I can only say "this" thing rocks because I am still using the first one I unwrapped. I wanted to see how long one would last. I have been topping this off regularly for two days and the filler hasn't started to darken yet and I think the vapor and TH are only getting better

i just picked up some blank 510 xl cartomizers from myfreedomsmokes.com and they are very wierd. I popped the top off and instead od a silicone insert in there it was a black piece of plastic with 2 side holes and a middle that slides onto the middle tube were the wires are. also you cant see the filling, there is a plastic covering over it? but filling them thru the battery end works well and claim to hold 1ml of liquid. anyone else using ones like this?
