510 Cartomizers :(

So I recieved my ego in the mail yesterday and I love it so far ! but I hate the 510 cartomizers I bought to go with it! they are a pain to refill, I had no idea I would need a needle to refill, does anyone know of cartomizers I could buy for my ego that I can refill using the condom method?

I refill my standard 510 cartomizers using the condom method... what kind did you get? Are they the eGo cartomizers or the 510 cartomizers?

Here's what I have, I use the condom method to fill them:

+1 for litecigusa. Get a drip tip also and put in on the carto. It wiil give you more length above the cone and lessen your chances of getting chapped lips.

PLus it looks cool.

Most any regular 510;'s will work with the condom method I believe even the CE2's.. I rather the needle myself less mess and waste IMO.

Five Genuine Joye cartomizers for your 510. Holds approximately 1ml.
These items are refillable but disposable. They have a DOA Warranty.
There are two hard plastic caps at the top that need to be removed to reveal the fill port which must be pierced with something sharp.
Similar to the eGo cartomizer picture.

People tell me these are great but I can't get over how much harder to fill they must be compared with the kind I'm using now. So I haven't ordered any yet - I'd rather carry a few more easy to fill ones than just one or two hard to fill ones.

OOoooooh I've been wanting to try those!

Try these : 510 BOGE SOFT CAP Blank Cartomizers

and these : 510 SLB SOFT CAP Blank Cartomizers

and maybe one of these : 510/901/KR808d-1 Anodized Aluminum Drip Tips

Hard to say if you'll like the Boge cartos or the SLB cartos, so you may want to buy both.

Should be able to condom method them. For future reference look for 'soft cap' carto's most of them you just pop the cap off and the filler is right there you can put drops on right from the juice bottle.

I bought the blank 510 cartos from LiteCigUSA and they are very easy to fill. Just pop off the soft top and drip away! They work great and very reasonable prices too.

Yep condom method works, I think the ones I have are 'Boge' brand, just got a couple packs in the mail today using them to test out some new juices before I put them in my good chrome carto's lol.

I have a drip tip already but i want cartos that are easy to refill using the condom method i used on my other ecig which came from safe cig I hated the e cigg but the carts were easy to refill using the condom method. I dont see how these can be refilled using the condom method? do you do it from the mouthpiece?

Odd thought it worked on most all 510 carto's I guess not. I'd look for the soft cap type carto's to order then. Also what needle type are you using? If its one of those plastic tipped ones they are quite a PITA, but a metal blunt tip or even a sharp one work alot better.. I broke 4 or 5 plastic needle tips over a couple days filling CE2 carto's.

Are these the carto's? Joye 510 cartomizers. Made by Joyetech. I might of been mistaken I thought we were talking about these.. If yours aren't those do yours have a whistle looking mouth end?

yes those are the ones but the condom method does not work i tried using the condom method on the thread end and it does not work at all i dont think it will work on the top since it is hard plastic cap also I dont have a needle i did not know when I bought them that I needed one if I would have known I would not have bought them

I would get a needle if I were you. I've heard great things about the Joye cartos.

Haven't gotten my hands on a Joye one yet but one of the reviewers said the condom method works on it.

It is a myth that these cartomizers can only be filled with a syringe and dismantling them. You can easily refill them with with the condom method. I put the threaded end into the tube. If it leaks out the mouthpiece end, I just wipe with a tissue.

There may be those who insist this is impossible, and I'm sorry I don't have the gear to make a video to demostrate, but there are others with YouTube vids online that show 510 cartomizers being refilled via the condom method, and I can attest this method works with the genuine Joye 510 cartos. I refill mine without a problem, as long as I don't overfill them and give them time to soak up.

You can also refill these cartomizers by just placing one drop at a time on the little hole in the metal tip of the carto. It will soak into the wicking about as fast as a small drip bottle will form another drop. About 15-20 drops will usually fill it, but you might get more or less, depending on how empty the carto is.
