hoog, any thoughts on the 510 cartomizers that've been getting rave reviews? any plans to carry them?

We have a shipment that got stuck with some illegal cell phones, so the whole container thing got delayed.. Got word this morning that the container was released so I'm hoping to see them the start of next week

i have a very similar PT to the one from madvapes (when i made the decision to buy, they were out of stock ) and i've run into a bit of a problem and wondered if anyone else has experienced this. lately the connection has been kinda...iffy. i'll set it down on my desk, then when i pick it up, the light flashes like i just plugged it in (so, basically, the wire's not always making contact).
any thoughts/suggestions?

Sounds like a broke wire.. Probably right where it goes into the pt. The end of those pop out and then you can see if the wire is right there and possibly fix it.. Gotta be careful when popping out the end though because they can snap off also.. good luck..

So why are you buying illegal cell phones?
can we get some more info about the 510 cartomizers will they be like the ones vaporkings has. there are good 510 cartomizers and bad ones the good ones have the rubber caps a rubber plug in the mouth piece. Ive seen ones with rubber caps but had the sealed plastic mouth piece so you couldn't open it up. theres also the ones with the hard plastic caps and mouth piece. i have some good ones they are amazing i have 2 packs of 5 i opened up one and still using it for more then a week. Ive dismantled several of these if you wish to do so pop the mouth cap grab some tweezers and shimmy the batting very easy back and forth slightly pulling it up and eventually out. then you can carefully remove the leads and the coil inside keeping it all in tact. now to take out the connector you have to boil it for a few mins then cool it under cold water a couple times then you can easily pop it right out. from here you can solder the coil back to the connector and replace the batting an slide it back together.
I wish I knew.. These are the first ones we are getting and they are supposed to be refillable's but we have minimal info on them. They are made by Bogetech which has some good reliable products... Hope they aren't the bad ones Will know more tomorrow as they are in Charlotte
Will know more tomorrow as they are in Charlotte from what i can see on the site the cartomizers you have in stock seem to be the well made kind with the rubber plug a the rubber caps. I'm sure ill be ordering some in the near future as i represent several smokers in my family.
I've only been using the one and only one I opened for two days now.. They're pretty cool and give great vapor. I like how they are shorter than a 510 atty/cartridge combo and that I can get 12 to 15 drops into one instead of 5 or 6 for a cartridge.. The rubber plug feels good against my tooth also
Plus how can you beat the price.
One thing I've noticed is that like some 510 atties, they seem to diminish the flavor of some e-liquids..

I couldn't wait, and ordered a pack from another vendor last week. Although these were Dekang brand and had the hard cap, so I had to use the condom fill method. I can't believe the amount of juice these things hold, i've went through 30ml of juice in no time
Great vapor production, and a nice warm vape. Been using one for 4 days now, and its still going strong after several refills!
Now that you have them in stock, will definitely be getting some more... as you said you can't beat the price of these, and they are great when you're on the go, and don't want to mess with atty's and cart's!
I'm curious Hoog...have you tried any Kick Azz Caramel in one yet? And when will you get any more of that flavor back in? Last time I ordered a 10ml bottle I couldn't stop vaping it!!

Have tried Kick azz yet, have been on a Very Berry, Cola kick this week but will try it tomorrow
With e-liquids, it's always something.. Bottles got tied up and are supposed to be in this week but only 5's and 30's.. 10's are still delayed so we have some non childproof 10's coming to hold us over..

I was wondering about the connector side of these cartos, I would like to use them on some bottom feeders where I have a small diameter brass tube sticking up through the positive connection only a millimeter or 2. My questions are, is the hole smaller on the cartos, does it feed into the atty as per a regular 510 atty, and is there a slot cut into the positive terminal as I suspect from other photos? Your help would be great as I'd love to order some of these.

The hole is decent size, not enormous, but not tiny either and there is a slot that goes across the center of the carto connector.

For 6V vaping these carts rock. Filled mine up and am going on day 2 at 6V. Flavor, Vapor and TH are much better. Just don't do it real long as they get hot quick.
Flavor for the 3.7 vaping does suffer a little. Time will tell if it gets stronger in taste. Not much difference if you close one hole or not, little harder on vape but no real taste difference. Overall I'm very happy with them....no mess, hold a lot of juice and last, great at 6V vaping. Glad I got that tube for my MiniVape Stack.
Now....about that new Mod??????

I love them too. I haven't put 10-15 drops in though. Only about 5-6, but what a huge improvement over dripping all day. They also give a great TH on a 5-6v PV. Don't know how long one will last yet, but they can't be much worse than all the atomizers I've blown out over the past month or so (and the price is incredible). Thanks, Hoogie, I wouldn't know where to drain my bank account if it weren't for you! LOL
