Hi,

I am a brand new e-cig user. I bought the 2X starter 510 pack from InnoVapor (25% off). I did quite a bit of research on these here forums and most people praise the 510. The reason I bought the 2X pack is that my wife and I are both switching from Analogs.

In the first few days after smoking 3 packs a day between the 2 of us we have smoked about 5 analogs. They taste worse and worse each time I break down and smoke one.

The 510 is a great performer with good vapor. I find the ecopure good but really like JC Tennessee Cured.

I do wonder one thing though. The carts seem to need toping off too much.

Am I expecting too much vapor? What can I do to get more out of a cart before topping.

Anyone use other material in the carts instead of the packing that comes with the carts?

Thanks

Yosam

Yosam, glad your enjoying your 510, my wife and I have a couple of sets as well.

The trade off for tons of vapor is tons of liquid, still cheaper than analogs.

Here is where you can look for cart mods, lots of people doing lots of things. Personally, I like the Lipton teabag mod, but that's just me. Read up on all the different things and choose for yourself.

Cartridge Mods

Happy vapor trails to you!!

The straw mod will help you get more of the liquid out of the cartridge. Also, take your time - often, you can get several more drags out of a cartridge than you may think by taking a break between 'smokes'. Take 5-6 drags, then set it down for 15-20 minutes.

yeah that does actually work amazingly , the juice needs time to wick down to the atomizer. i did this technique with my 801penstyle last night and i nearly sucked the cart dry , and when i did re-fill it i put in 16 drops of juice! crazy

I just bought this unit. It is my third e-cig and also the most I have spent so far.
I am totally thrilled and will not be buying any more styles. This is the one to get.
I bought a M401 from Envy Bliss( good intro, but crappy overall)
Then I bought a 901 from freshsmoking.com( decent piece, but I wanted to try a manual switch. Great company and super fast shipping though)

so I bought the 510 from innovapor.com And I am one happy camper now.
I buy my juice from johnson creek because innovapor's ecopure is kinda bland, but the 510 is an amazing e-cig.

My favorite purchase all year, even better than my new car!

Got my 510 from innovapor today. Been sucking on it for hours and still cant get that friggen burning taste out of my mouth. My 4081 never did this im assuming its primer but it just wont go away.

short drags , keep it moist , let the atty cool down

if that doesn't help you might have some fibers in there

My 510 is my good old standby!
I love it, I've had it for amlost 2 months now and the attys and batteries are still going strong, even with all my heavy vaping. I love the PCC as well.

You can use straw mods, but my new favorite is lipton tea bad filters for filler.
I love them, they don't melt, not more fibers, and seems to haev much better wicking and great hit and flavor consistency with them!

I got rid of the burninf tast of one of mine, by putting one drop of Humco glycerine on the atty. primed it right up adn gave huge enorumose clouds. I now like to add a drop to my atty then fill my new modded carts with whatever liquid. Its my favorite way to vape...as of right now.

(you can buy a bag big enough at wal-mart to last you a year for 2.5 bucks) but to me the pyramid bags dont wick and they tend to taste a little after a couple of draws i like regular tea bags before pyramid but that only my opinion!!! take it for whats its worth!! Did you use the whole bag? Roll it tight so that it is not tight in the cart.
The stuff is hard to roll. I am loving them and the work great for me.
Check out the video for putting them in, it might help. Anyway, everybody's got their own method.

I got my first 501 a few days ago and had the same problem with having to top off after a couple of drags. I've been using a 901 and a VX2 and didn't have that problem. I wound up taking the filling out of the 501 cart and cutting it in half, spreading out a little bit and stuffing it back in. Works like a charm!! When I needed to top off the stuff was almost dry and it took like 10+ drops to fill it up.

I bought a 510 starter kit last week and im very happy wit it there was 1 battery, 5 carts and a charger. I did some more research and it seemed that people talk very highly about the evo, so I placed my order and received my evo kit today.

The 510 actually seems to be easier to draw on, im not sure if its because the evo is brand new or not but the 510 is just a great vapor.

If someone could tell me if the evo will get better in the next day or 2 that will be great, it just seems I need to really draw on the evo to get it to actually work.
