that's it! or slotted adapter on the 901 side to bring the juice in and lower the amount left in the tank. the 510-901 adapter, at least the heavens-gift (HG09010510) adapters work fine but because of the placement of the air holes they still leave a fair amount of juice in the tank. the hole in the middle of the adapter would only save a couple mm of the juice level in the tank, and making native 510 adapters brings into question the overall length of the atomizer and whether it will fit properly in the tank at all. but using the HG 901-510 adapter, with existing slots on the 510 end, and maybe slightly deeper slots (to account for the 901 avs threads) on the 901 end as well, would bring the juice up through the bottom, keeping the remaining juice in the tank as low as it would be with a 901 really, and still leave the air holes on the 510 side. maybe i just need sleep, but i think you got it, hope!

Good call, maybe we've been doing the slots on the wrong end 
Just tried putting another one together and there was no need to shorten the screw... So why did I have to take 1 or 2 mm off the other one? .... This one has about the same gap between the atty and adapter which I suspect is needed for juice flow.
Only issue with gaps is it may lead to over tightening and driving the bottom into the 510 killing it....

Well tried it with a normal pin (no filing) and the gap looks the same as my filed one. Floods badly at times, don't like it. Think I'll file a little bit at a time till that gap is just right.

Is your adapter identical to mine? One of the guys I sold a 901-510 adapter too had the same thing, no mod required but did leave juice in the tank I believe. What about some think like a slotted plastic washer at the bottom?

I bought it from the Greek store that sells GG Hope. I dont really know if they are the same
It still works exellent. No liquid on the CT, great vape everytime. I vaped a whole tank and I never closed the CR to take primary inhales
